"Ariel" and "Out of Gas", especially that last shot of Serenity on the hilltop.

"Our Mrs. Reynolds" being a close runner up.
 
Whichever one was about that guy who shipped himself to Mal so he could potentially save his life but the guy ended up dieing anyway :cry: plus Jaynes hat was great!

Whatever ep that was I also LOVED!
 
"The Message"

And I know I'll look stupid for asking but isn't that guy in the episode the same actor who plays Knox in Angel and Holden(?) is it in season 7 of Buffy?
 
I went with War Stories. River was awesome in it and well, it was a great episode. Poor Mal and Wash tho.
Ariel was a very super close second.
 
I'm not sure I can choose. Jaynestown cracked me up. Jayne was just hilarious and we got to see that he isn't always about himself (he was pretty upset that the guy took the bullet for him at the end). Plus the song is hilarious.

War Stories was good, too. Mal and Wash still arguing over Zoe even while they were being tortured--priceless.

I've only watched most of the episodes once (except for Jaynestown and Shindig--which were the ones I watched back in 2002 and got me hooked on the show only to find it was canceled soon after I discovered it) so my opinion might change after I watch them a few times.
 
honestly i couldn't even attempt to pick a favorite, i love them all way too much! that's like asking me what finger i want you to chop off!!
