Season 1 is my least favourite season, but it's still really good 😀

Season 1 isn't nearly as great as others, but I give it props for getting me hooked and showing the show's true potential.

Yes, S1 isn't one of the best, but in good part just because we haven't had story/characters points building up yet. I agree with @Fool for Buffy that it still shows the potential of the show. I always feel a bit bad pointing out that it is weaker because it definitely still has merit, and I love the whole series, I really do.

Shout out to Never Kill A Boy On The First Date. I've always found that ep pretty underrated. And I somehow always crack up laughing when the crazy vampire goes "Pork and beans, PORK AND BEANS! I can smeeell you." LMAO Why am I so weird? 😛
 
I rank most season 1 episodes rather equal.
Prophecy Girl might stand out a bit but besides that they all are fairly straight forward episodes with this brilliant campy fun of the early Buffy. Gotta love that.

Special mention to I, Robot... You, Jane because very few seems to like it but I always look forward to see it on re-watches.
