Not many times that Puppet and I agree on things but basically EXACTLY what she says. 🙂

I'll add that to me it's not just the best finale but some of the best TV I have seen to date.

My favorite one is Restless just for its meaninglessness, which forces you to create your meaning for it... also because Cheese Guy.

This is hard for me because I adore most of the finales. Buffy always had the greatest season endings. Ended up going with The Gift though, it's just a personal favorite after my favorite season in general. Then I'd go with Becoming, and then Graduation Day. Chosen, Prophecy Girl, and Grave would follow, with Restless last (but that hardly means anything because they're all amazing!)

All of them are pretty wonderful, it's really hard to choose, but because I love the universal empowerment theme, I went for Chosen

Pretty much this. It's the only finale that I have to mentally prepare myself for, and yet I love it.

Becoming is just quintessential Buffy and is one of the most emotionally resonant episodes of the entire series. Not even The Gift really approaches the impact Becoming had on me. SMG's performance was out of this world and has me crying every time. I love it.
