Favorite Firefly Episode?

So I just finished watching Firefly for the first time and Im so glad everyone talked me into watching it, its awesome.

So im curious, what is your favorite Firefly episode & why?

Mine is by far "Objects in Space", River was just amazing in this episode it made her a close second to being my favorite character. (Besides Mal of course)
 
"Our Mrs. Reynolds". I love when Jayne tried to trade Saffron for his "Vera" and Book telling Mal "If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater". That episode has some of the best Firefly quotes.

Mine is "Shindig."

In this one episode you get it all; a fancy ball, sword fighting, and some serious chemisty between Mal and Inara. Good stuff.

My favorite is Out Of Gas. I love seeing the flashbacks and I like the way the story is told out of order. Objects in Space is close though because I love River and I love Jubal Early!!

I love Shindig for the dresses and Inara-ness. Heart of Gold is great as well.

Out of gas is one of those episodes I remember... and it's a good reason for it. Great episode.

But the pilot will also always be a favorite of mine.

It's a tie between Shindig and Out of Gas.

I ship Mal/Inara so hard...

I love the Out of Gas flashbacks. And all the Mal/Kaylee stuff is just cute. They have an older brother/younger sister relationship that is all different kinds of cute. I ship their friendship.

i ship mal/inara prety hardcore too lol :D. Shindig was so cute with those two.
"Heart Of Gold" is one of my favorites, simply because it's the episode that's the most "western" of all of the episodes. Picture "The Magnificent Seven" meets "The Best Little Whore House In Texas," and you've got this episode perfectly.

"Out Of Gas" is another favorite, because of the flashbacks and also because of another of my favorite western themes, the cowboy refusing to leave his faithful steed when it becomes injured.
 
Our Mrs Reynolds or Heart of Gold....Our Mrs Reynolds cause it's hillarious, and Heart of Gold cause of Mal/Inara
 
For me it's Out of Gas. I love seeing how all the cast came together, and the episode was just put together so cleverly. Multiple plotlines from many different points in time all going on at once, and not once was it confusing or cramped.

"Out of Gas" for me too. I'm a sucker for a good flashback. I'm quite fond of "Ariel" too.
 
About half of them or more. Jaynestown will always have a special place in my heart since it was the episode when I felt my love really coming along.

My favorite is "Our Mrs. Reynolds", with "Out Of Gas", "Shindig" and "Ariel" close behind.

Kean - agree, "Train Job" isn't as great as other eps, but still it's better than 99% of modern TV.

So true! Bushwhacked isn't the best of the series, but the whole closeup with a Reaver-in-training is incredibly creepy. In fact, the whole Reaver storyline creeps me out more than anything in Buffy/Angel.
