Favorite Issue [and Arc] So Far

Now that we've hit the half-way point (I know, can you believe it?) I think it'd be fun to do this. Also, what's your least favorite issue so far, and Favorite cover.

Favorite Arc: Wolves at the Gate (with Long Way Home coming in second)
Favorite Issue: Wolves at the Gate Pt. 3 and Long Way Home Pt. 1. (The Chain gets second place.)

Least Favorite Issue: Time of Your Life Pt. 1. I didn't like it at all until I read the whole arc in a row. There's really no bad one's imo.

Favorite Cover: Long Way Home Pt. 3. Total Willow badassness.

NOTE: I was gonna add favorite new character, but really, Renee and Satsu are the only new ones... So answer that too if you want to. 😉

Favorite Arc: The Long Way Home. I liked No Future For You, too.
Favorite Issue: Anywhere But Here, closely followed by A Beautiful Sunset.

Least Favorite Issue: I would say the whole Time of Your Life arc, but to be honest, it wasn't really that bad...I just had such high hopes for it and it didn't wind up being anything special. So instead, I'll go with Wolves At the Gate, pt. 4. It's just ridiculous...I mean, a giant Dawn robot? Really? Also, from what I've heard and read (I haven't gotten it yet), After These Messages...We'll Be Right Back! is pretty bad, too.

Favorite Cover: The covers for Time of Your Life, pt. 4. and Anywhere But Here are both fantastic. Jo Chen is brilliant.

I honestly haven't disliked a single issue so far, but...

"Wolves at the Gate" has been my favorite arc, with the others all pretty much tied for second place IMO. My favorite single issue would probably be either "A Beautiful Sunset" or the final issue of "Wolves at the Gate," because I'm so fascinated by the complexities of the Buffy/Satsu relationship and how it reveals insights as to Buffy's current mind state. (Quit breaking the poor girl's heart, Buffy...)

Picking my favorite cover is difficult... Jo Chen has done so many brilliant ones. The cover of the upcoming "Time of Your Life" paperback would be right up there, along with Dark Willow from #19, Kennedy and Satsu from upcoming #22, and Centaur Dawn from... #18 (I think?), and the cover of the "Long Way Home" paperback.

My favorite single pages of art would be the final page of #20, the first two-page scene from "Long Way Home" with Buffy and the Slayers jumping from helicopters (currently my computer desktop), and the final page from the final issue of "Wolves at the Gate."

my favorite arc was probably No Future for You fallowed by Wolves At the Gates

I didn't really have a worst arc

My favorite issue was either A Beautiful Sunset or Anywhere but Here. Wolves at the gate 1 would fallow in third place

I have a couple of covers that I really like: Time of your life 4, No future for you 1 and 3

As for the favorite new character, I love Satsu and I didn't mind Renee but Definetly not as Xanders girlfriend

Favourite New Character: Renee 🙁

Yeah, I loved Renee and kind of hated what they did to her. It was the one thing I disliked about "Wolves at the Gates" (yes, I even liked Mecha-Dawn). Renee's fate just seemed like gratuitous Tragedy Porn to me... something that gets indulged in a bit too often in the Jossverse.

Satsu is my favorite new character who's stuck around. Leah and Rowena also intrigue me, although we haven't really gotten to see that much of them in the foreground. I hope they avoid the Redshirt Axe and get developed a bit more as characters.

And I thought Lady Genevieve was a cool villain and would have made a nice reclamation project for Faith and Giles, but oh well.

Favorite Arc: Wolves At the Gate. I love that it gave us the closure to Xander's buttmonkey arc with Dracula, ending their story with Xander finally standing up to Dracula and telling him off.

Favorite Issue: A Beautiful Sunset. It felt like a TV epsiode of Buffy.

Least Favorite Issue: Hmmm. Probably The Long Way Home Part 4.

Favorite Cover: The Long Way Home Part 2 and Anywhere But Here.

Favorite Issue: A beautiful Sunset was great, The finale of Faith's arc was great too.

Favorite Cover: The Chain, Georges Jeantry cover (I Want You - to be strong) which is a bit weird because I generally like Jo Chen's covers the best
Favourite New Character: Renee
Favourite Old Character: Buffy, Faith

Not really good with issue names and such because I buy the trades but I hope I am getting them right.

Favorite Arc

Wolves at the Gate, definitely. It had a great build up and some hilarious moments with Xander and Dracula. And a huge Slayer all out brawl with vampires in Japan with a Mecha-Dawn and everything. Very epic. and sad too, for Xander.

Favorite Issue

I forgot what it was called but the one where it's the story about the fake Buffy and how she died.

Least Favorite Issue

Probably the last issue of The Long Way Home.

Favorite Cover

The one where Willow and Buffy are flying. They look so close to their real life actors, it's amazing. Jo Chen is amazing.

Favorite New Character

Twilight. Badassery.

Favorite Arc: No Future For You (poor Faith that Buffy didnt trust her.)

Favorite Issue: The Long Way Home Part 4 (esp. the last page that Buffy says to that general guy "O...kay")

Least Favorite Issue: Nope

Favorite Cover: No Future For You Part 1(It's like, "Buffy, who?" lol but dont get me wrong I love Buffy too)

Favorite new character(good): Satsu & Renee
