Favorite Michy Roles

So, Michelle went on record a few years back to say Georgina Sparks was her favorite role. But she portrayed so many characters over her lifetime. What are some of your favorite roles performed by our dear Dawnie?

I am about 5 years younger than her, but she frequently played roles that were my age. I remember vividly watching her on The Adventures of Pete and Pete as Nona. She was the best friend of the younger Pete (played by Danny Tamborelli) and she had such a presence even at a young age.

She also played the role of Gloria Glad in Richie Rich's Christmas Wish. I had this on VHS as a kid, and watched it frequently.

Then, she moved to the big screen with Disney's Inspector Gadget.

Of course, shortly after this, she landed her most iconic role, Dawn Summers.

Heck, I have only seen her in three things by the looks of it. A single episode of Criminal Minds, two episodes of Sleepy Hollow then finally Buffy. And I didn't recognise her in Buffy, given she only guest starred in Criminal Minds and the only guest star that really stuck in my mind from Sleepy Hollow was the one played by Laura Spencer. Because I remembered her from Bones and The Big Bang Theory.

EDIT: Oh, I have seen Inspector Gadget too. And (checking) an episode of House.

She was really entertaining in the 4th season of Six Feet Under. She gave what could have been a shallow throw away role, much more personality and charm.

Remember her being solid in one of the later seasons of Weeds. Still need to go back and check out some of her earlier roles. Didn’t know about the Inspector Gadget part.

Buffy is my number one memory
Criminal Minds - she was utterly terrifying as an UNSUB in one of the saddest CM episodes of the entire series. I hate watching the end of that episode but she did it brilliantly.
Saw her in other roles, mostly as an adult and i am amazed at her range.

My sister and I first saw her in Buffy season 7 when we were little - it's the first season of Buffy we watched so to us Dawn never appeared she was always there, and we also loved the film Ice Princess I still watch it often.

Was just reminded about her part in Mysterious Skin. Really good indie film from memory. Will have to put it on the rewatch list

I remember her as Penny from the Matthew Broderick Inspector Gadget movie. I've also seen the Zac Efron 17 Again movie more than I should admit. I remember seeing her in Eurotrip and was shocked, that Dawn was all grown up. Also, I think she was in an episode of House. I never saw Ice Princess.
