Which episodes (or seasons) had your favorite score or individual songs used?

The song sets the perfect dreamy, surreal atmosphere and goes perfect with the visuals of Buffy and that mind blowing dance!😛

Normally I hate music like this, but it is just so perfect for the moment, and takes my breath away every single time. Just feel so bad for Buffy🙁

This is just playing in background during the Bronze scene in the episode Family. Its a beautiful song enjoy!🙂

Maybe the most romantic Willow-Tara scene. I just want to die😛

Can't find the actual clip, but its from the bronze scene in Dopplegangland i believe. I love how off-kilter and raw it is, and its fits perfectly with Anya's dialouge during the scene as well as the creepy vibe of Vamp Willow about to take over the place😛

Something for you Bangels😛

And something for Spuffys well sort of😉 The song brilliantly ties the scoobies stories together, it is mostly effectively for the Willow-Tara section. The bit where Dawn storms away from Tara gets me everytime🙁

Anya's finest moment?🙂

Mann's music is just so lush and cinematic and works really well in a show like Buffy🙂

Even as a Riley hater I have to admit this is lovely🙂

And of course one of the most touching themes ever on Television🙁

Can't get the scene sadly, but the use of this is oddly errie within the context of the episode.

YES!😛 The way SMG sells the more sexually confident Buffy in this scene is work of acting class🙂

From NKABOTFD. A mixed bag of an episode, but the tune hits the mark😛

Which episode is this song from? I love it anyway🙂

Awesome track from Crush!😛

Chosen and The Gift have two of my favorite scores from Buffy:

Well, and Once More With Feeling has great songs, obviously.

By the way, Christophe Beck went on to make the music for such films as Frozen and Edge of Tomorrow.

The Final Fight is EPIC

And Jeepers Creepers too I think?

My vote goes to Michele Branch, Goodbye to You, Tabula Rasa. Everything about this episode was epic including the song at the end. Runner up is Bush, Out of this world, Dead things.

That was the perfect song to express and tie up all those issues. I like a lot of music in BTVS, but that was heart rending.
+1 for Sacrifice, from The Gift. Such an awesome piece of music.

All as mentioned, Bush's "Out of This World", Michelle Branch's "Goodbye To You"(I liked the version performed in Buffy way better than the other studio version), Angie Hart's Blue(from Conversation with Dead People, and cowritten by Joss Whedon), Aimie Mann's "Pavlov's Bell" and "This is How It Goes". And obviously, "Sacrifice" and "The Final Fight" are great compositions that are just perfect for the show. I also like some of the 90's alternative bands who play in The Bronze.

I also like the song which is playing during All the Way when Dawn and the Vampire are in the car. But I couldn't find it. Anyone know the title?

Hands-down the best fight music in the series, next to The Final Fight from Chosen.

Love these two because they're so dreamy and mysterious. They also work really well for Faith.

Maybe I should be posting this in unpopular opinions but I HATE the Final Fight music. I think it's way over the top and out of character for BTVS. It is actually distracting and irritating to me and one of the reasons I dislike that episode.

I really with they would have chosen some music more in keeping with the regular Buffy music, to me that would have been a much better way to end things.

I'm not sure what song it is, since it's not on the soundtracks, but the one playing when Buffy and Riley are killing demons in The I in Team intercut with them undressing later. That was very well done with the slow motion fight and after-shag, it seemed to say a bit about their relationship too.

Yeah I guess the music serves its purpose I'm just not so hot on the scene😉
