I wish I could have made this a poll, but then I'd have to put over 100 choices, hahaha. 😛 So yea... The question is, what was your favorite character that appeared in ONLY ONE episode. No, you cannot pick anyone who had more than one apparition on the shows. You can go ahead and pick one for each show.

BtVS: SID!!!!!! I can't believe he didn't end up being a regular cast member. 😉 😛

Angel: Hahaha, this one is hard! I got a couples I'd have loved to see more often... The Loa(the powerful hamburger!), Mr. Ashet(cool black dude, The Beast killed him in the opening of Long Day's Journey), Manny(or Manjet), Polo(the evil puppet) and Ilona Costa Bianchi(the CEO of W&H in Rome lmao). 😉

BtVS: Sweet, the singing demon. How can anyone not like him? He can change the color of his suit with a snap!

AtS: Ilona. She was incredibly funny, and it was so hilarious to see Rome W&H looking exactly the same as the LA Branch. (Gypsies... Pah!)

BtVS: Probably Sid, the idea of a hunter stuck in the body of a dummy seemed cool. I think they could have squeezed one more episode out of him

AtS: I have a lot to choose from here, but I will say Rebecca from "Eternity". I loved the episode, and I was so fascinated with the idea a human wanting to become a vampire. I think her character should have been brought back because she seemed to have a lot more depth than other "one shot" characters
 
From BtVS mine would either be Dracula from Season 5 or Kralik from Helpless in Season 3!! Dracula was so great!!! Loved his whole character, his story, his accent and his pursuit of Buffy and the interactions between them. Kralik because I just loved how metal he was, his singing, the way he spoke and he was so scary to me when I first watched it and even now when I rewatch it!! And The Gentleman of course - how could I not include them???? One of my favourite villains and so so so terrifying!!!

Buffy: the gentlemen because they were so scary and a lot different to anything else we'd seen before
Angel: the cyborg that was Wesley's dad. I liked the story behind that episode.
 
Hmmm... A one-time character? That's tough. But my pick would be Dr. Gregory from "Teacher's Pet". He was, like, the only other teacher who was nice to Buffy.

Definitely. I would have loved to see a non-Giles shaped authority figure that in Buffy's corner.
I wanted more Shelia Rosenberg. Funny, well-acted and just SO believable as Willow's mom. Stuff like "Bunny Summers" or the "with King Friday lording it over the lesser puppets" has adoration-worthy status for me.

I get that Buffy had to stake Ford at the end of Lie to Me but I would have liked to see that character again. Fascinating interplay of high intelligence mixed with rock bottom low moral intelligence. Knew Buffy for years before she was the slayer. Played a talented, gorgeous actor. A winner of a one-off character.

I 100% agree with you there!!!!! There needed to be more of her! Those quotes you mention are hilarious - the way she says that "King Friday" thing is just so funny, its an absolute classic - its the highlight of the episode for me it really is! I literally laugh out loud everytime I watch her say it!!! Things like that always tickle me! And her reaction when Willow tells her she is dating a musician!!!
