My favorite season was season four because that was when I really started watching the show and truely enjoying it. I liked the previous seasons, but the Buffy/Angel relationship was just too much drama! Although I agree that the Initiative and Riely were crappy they helped set up for Characters like spike. And I think that Spike adds a much needed spice. I loved the art of the fourth season too. From the Fear, Itself epsiode to Something Blue, Hush, A New Man, Primeval, and Restless, they are such good episodes. The concepts of Hush and Restless were so interesting and I really enjoyed the whole season because fo them. Plus You have to think that all the things that you didn't liked just set up for things for the next seasons, which I think is ingeniouos of the shows writers...I guess thats just my two cents defending season four!
 
I actually liked season 5 a hell of a lot, the whole Dawn being the key was brilliant, plus we found out that Spike loves Buffy 🙂

but now i see its only seasons 1-4 so season 3
 
They were all - apart from the Initiative in S4 - good.🙂

Loved Season One, and Season 2, but Season 3 just clinched it, with having Faith in it - you gotta love to hate her!! 😀😀
 
Having just finished Season 4 [insert happy dance here] I'll have to stick by my original vote for Season 3. Liked Season 2 as well [I sort of see them as one extra long season in terms of goodness] but 3 had more Oz, brought in Faith.. all that good stuff. Plus I could only vote for one. 😀
 
I think 3 is one of the best seasons, the whole Mayor/Faith situation, it was just so good, and also the Mayor was quite a funny character. 🙂🙂

Season 4 was a bit of a let down, with the Initiative and Maggie Walsh, but in saying that, it had a few of the best eppy's yet, ie, 'Hush' that has got to be one of 'the' best. 🙂🙂🙂
 
Everyone is dissing season4 and heavily praising 2and3! Lol, they all rock! But i voted for 2 anyway!
 
It's definately a tie between Season 2 and 3. Season 1 was good, but they were just trying to get everything together. Season 4 had some really great eps, but the Initiative thing got old fast! But the last two eps of season 4 are some of my faves!
 
Season 2 and 3 but I've voted for s2. It was good with Spike-Dru, Angelus (and we have seen Jason Behr!! 😀)
But s3 with Faith, was really good too! 🙂
 
Season three definately.
You got Faith and the Mayor and some great eps
(two of my favourite eps ever Doppelgangland and Band Candy)
 
I'd have to say S3 because of a few things.

1) Faith
2) Angel leaves (it wasn't good but it was diff. for the show)
3) Graduation Day pt. 1
4) Graduation Day pt. 2

That has to be my fav. Season!!!
Season 1 was too....... boring. Or maybe it was too short. I don't know.

Season 2 is my second fav because of a few reasons:
1) Angel goes bad
2) It was just cool

Season 4 was too.... dumb. Riley was just... BLAH
Season 5 was.... no comment.

All the seasons were good. I mean, I watched them all but... I dunno... season 2 & 3 were the best. I voted for S3 thogh.
 
I love them all esp Season 1 (I watched The Harvest yesterday so I'm on a Season 1 kick) and Season 3 cause of Faith!!
 
Definitely season 3: All the couples were there Oz-Willow, Angel-Buffy, Xander-Cordelia ... there were in high school and it is way much better for the story than College. Anya and Faith came. My 2 best épisode: #1 The wish and #2 Doppelgangland
and also EvilWillow a very surprising caracter! She was so funny 😀
 
I voted for Season two. It just seemed like the storylines were all really good and the acting was good. So you know it was all good. Next would be season three though. It was great 🙂

Season 4 was definitely a let down and in Season 1 it was like they were just getting into it so it was a little different even though I did really like it.
 
close between s3 + s4 but s2 wins for me,just.spike & dru,angelus but for me ending with "full of grace" and i'm sold.this is the point where i went from being a fan to being addicted /geek
 
i chose season 1 because it was the reason that Buffty became so popular. this season established the whole show and is what drew so many people in. and even though it was only a 12 episode season, all the eps were great. they showed the range of Joss and all the writers and their imagination and drive to make Buffy such an awesome show. and look how they ended that season. they had no idea if there would be second season, so they gave us a great season ender. buffy died (ok, for a few minutes) and she defeated the master. but of course when season 2 started, there was a plan to bring him back. so to reiterate my point, if it hadn't been for that amazing first season, none of us would be on these boards talking about Buffy or Angel.

What eppy was "Full of Grace"? What happened in it again?!?!?! ???
Im not addicted (or geek) lol but we are all here coz we ::heart:: buffy so much! 😀
