I know that this has probably been done many times, but I can't find a live one.
So the question is... What's the best season of Buffy? This is over all, it's okay to have your favorite episode in one season but have a different favorite season over all.
Please explain your answer!
For me it was Season two. It was really true Buffy for me, with them in high school, still hanging out in the library. And I love the Angel/us arc. And of course, Giles/Jenny.
So, take your pick!
 
My favorite Buffyverse season is probably Angel season 5. Angel and Spike banter is the best.

Favorite Buffy season? Either season 2 or 6. I really can't choose 😛

Angel season 5 was excellent :)
Season 5. (Closely followed by season 6) Even though I've never been a big fan of Dawn and there were some very noteable plot holes with the entire arc of S5, Glory was still my favorite villain. In general I liked the story for this season and the closure of this arc was the best of the series to me. Also a few of my favorite Spike/Spuffy moments are in this season, which doesn't hurt its rank. 😉
 
Season 4

All the scoobies are grown up now. Also Tara, Anya and Spike join the gang with Spike becoming the comic relief. Its also probably the most light hearted of the entire series and I dig the whole X-Files government conspiracy vibe to it since I am a fan of the X-Files.

Also on that Government Conspiracy angle I liked that it acknowledged that those in power were aware of the Demons, Monsters and Vampires that existed in the world. To me it added a bit more depth to the buffyverse that it wasn't just a handful of people and organizations (The Council) knowing about the existence of monsters.

Lets also not forget it gave us one of the best episodes on TV ever Hush. 🙂
 
Season Two - Buffy.

It had Spike, Drusilla, and Angelus. Need I say more? 😉

For Angel, I have no idea. Possibly S2? I actually stopped watching during S5 😱, so I feel I can't make a decision until I rewatch S5.
 
I like season 5 a lot.

I love some of the character developments and I love the finale. So so much.

I love the Spike and Dawn friendship too. Which I don't think I've mentioned here before. It's good times.

I'm probably alone on this one, but Season 6. I just think it was most different out of all of them.

For Angel I'd say Season 1 or 5. It's hard to say really.
 
Season five of Buffy is my favourite. It has some of my favourite episodes and everything just comes together to make a really tight, entertaining season.
 
My favourite is season 2, it's the first season I watched and it's the one that got me hooked into Buffy. I loved the whole Spike, Dru and Angelus story.

In Angel my favourite is also season 2, Darla'a return, Drusilla coming to turn her, introducing Lorne and going to Pylea
 
Well I'm going to take the question both ways......

Season 2 with 3 right on its tail

And Winter season cause I hate going out in the cold and rather just sit back and watch some Buffy
 
2, 3 and 5 are my faves.

If I had to pick between them, I'd go with 2. It introduced my favorite character, Spike, and had what I consider to be the best arc of the series, Angel losing his soul.
 
It depends on my mood. It's usually out of Season 6, 5 or 2 though. Might have to go with 2 purely because Spike and Dru are badass and there's no Dawn.
 
My overall favorite season is Season 3. It has everything... Love, Loss, Drama, Betrayal... It's an AMAZING season. Plus Buffy blows up the school! Amazing!
