If you could only choose one season to watch for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

For me, it's gotta be Season 2. It's the season that got me without a doubt hooked. The writing, the acting, the story, it's my defintion of perfect.
 
Angel season 5

Epic story, amazing characters, Spike, Lindsey comes back, Angel/Spike fights, Not Fade Away I could go on about how amazing this season is. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that Cordelia wasn't in it and "The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco" was pretty bad

An honorable mention to Buffy season 2 though, IMO the show at it's best
 
Buffy Season 5. I love it so much. Two of my favourite-ever episodes are in the Season - The Gift and The Body - in which the writing, performances and directing are first class. Fool For Love is also a classic. I loved the whole concept running through the season of the nature of the Slayer, and ultimately understanding into her "gift." I loved Glory - my favourite big bad. She is such an incredible villain, hilarious and mental!!!!! The progression of the story of the Key was great in my opinion and keeps me hooked - those last three episodes following directly after eachother are riveting stuff to watch.

So yes - my vote is Buffy Season 5.
 
BTVS Season 5
It summed up so much about her as a character & put her through so much so that she could grow. The beginning was a bit weak & this is probably the worst series premiere, but I think it got better as it progressed

Angel Season 3
Although I was a fan of Season 2 as well with the beginning Darla parts & the Pylea arc, that season always kind of felt like they introduced something & didn't know what to do with it. The something carried over to Season 3 & although I don't agree with the baby the execution of Season 3 was probably the best of a season from beginning to finale. It had some nice standalone EP's as well as a great dramatic arc that wasn't too underwhelming or as overwhelming as season 4

That's my fav AtS season, with s2 close behind.
I know I said season 5, but special mention has to go to Season 3! I often have trouble deciding between Season 5 and 3! S3 has Faith, one of my favourite characters and that whole arc is incredible - the highlight of the Season. I love Consequences and also like The Mayor as the big bad!! I think the reason 5 edges it is because no single episode in S3 arouses that same emotion or has the same impact as The Gift and The Body! And I prefer Glory over The Mayor though there is virtually nothing in it! I love the second half of S2 following Surprise/ Innocence and the whole Angelus arc is fascinating, but when considering seasons overall S5 comes out on top for me!

Hmm, that'd be a tough choice, but (For Buffy) I'd need a season with Tara and Anya in it because I need to have them around, lol. So it'd be season 5 or 6. Probably 6 since it includes The Trio. Wait, definitely, ABSOLUTELY 6! I need to be able to watch Once More With Feeling! 😀

And for Angel, it would be season 5 with 1 as a close second, although I love every Angel season.
 
For the rest of my LIFE? This (minus the life part) was asked in another thread and I said three. I really love 2...it's so hard to pick between them. If I HAD to pick one for the rest of my life, I'd pick 3. I really love them both though, grr!
 
For BtVS, it's incredibly hard to choose. 2, 3, and 5 are genius and so compelling. I also like 4, but it's not in the running. 6 and 7 are disqualified by the *cough*lack of Giles*cough.* In fact, he's not even in 7. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

But I'll go with 5, just barely, because I LOVE Glory as a big bad, and it has Tara and Anya, and it has some of the best episodes and best scenes of the series.

For AtS, it's 3 without a doubt. I LOVE dark Wesley.
 
I think I would pick season 6 of Buffy. Yeah, it's pretty depressing and has much drama in it, but I actually like that.

For AtS, I'd say season 3.
