Favorite Shipping?

Hey,
There are a lot of difrent shippings out. Everyone prefers something else. You have the Xander/Faith ones, the Spike/Angel or Buffy/Willow or just the ones you saw on screen Buffy/Angel, Willow/Tara enz.
What I would love to know is what everyones favorite shipping is and why.

My favorite ones are Buffy/Angel because of the amazing tension that is between them all the time. There was something between them from the first season till the last. A kind of love that will last forever inside but won't be there at the outside.

My favorite fiction shipping is definitly Buffy/Faith. I just love both characters and I felt like there was always something in between them. There was something that Faith got out of Buffy. And the fact that they are both exstreamly hot won't hurt anyone 😉

haha, you can guess from my name! Bangel (Buffy/Angel for all you that don't know the short names) and second Tillow!🙂(Willow/Tara). I also love Willow and Xander, not really as a couple but as best friends.

Cangel and Fuffy.
Cangel because this love they had didn't just happen from one day to the next like with certain other ships (I'm not saying anything ... but it starts with Ba and ends with ngel) and they really built their love. I hope there will be some way for them to get happy together.
And Fuffy ... well, Fuffy is just hot, that's reason enough. And they had great chemistry.

I've got too much time invested in a Spike/Buffy 'ship, but lately I'm beginning to think that in a more fair world, Spike and Faith would hit it right off. The fights between the two of them would be fantastic, but the reconciliations would be EPIC!

As far as fiction pairings go, I love me some Spike/Anya 😀 Dammit I wish they would've been an actual couple! Oh and of course Anya/Giles!

Xanya (Xander/Anya) and Joyles (Joyce/Giles)- It was confirmed as canon by one o the writers okay, so nuh! haha. (I never say Bangel, Spuffy, or Briley because I can't pick between them. The Buffster has too many great boyfriends)

As for non-canon...Anya/Giles. I just think it's a funny couple to have, they are such opposites. And always a great couple to write a drabble or one-shot on. Tabula Rasa just kick-started that for me.

Giles and... me? Nah. Okay. Seriously, now, which is my favorite canon Buffy ship? Gotta go with Xander and Anya. They were my light at the end of the tunnel, too. And as everyone knows, I'm a huge Giles/Joyce shipper, too. Which writer said it was officially canon, Joyce? And when? And is there a link? Finally, I've got to say that I am recently starting to lean toward Spike and Dru. I'm not a big carry-a-torch type. Once a relationship runs its course, I tend to move on with the characters and enjoy what comes next, so the most recent relationship for a character usually tends to be my favorite. I enjoyed the Buffy thing for Spike. But now that it's over, I'm surprised to find myself re-lighting my old Sprusilla torch. Surprisingly, part of me hopes they'll find a way to work out the whole evil/good thing. lol. I guess I'm dreaming.

As for non-canon... Buffy/Xander. I have always felt that Xander should be endgame for Buffy. He's the only man - the only person, really -- who has never left Buffy. He's a true friend, even when he's a dumbass or when he makes mistakes. I loved his very husbandly role in the first half of season 7. I just think that if Buffy ever decides to settle down, Xander will be the best possible choice. He's already family. Why not make it official? Then again, I've seen that vibe before and he ended up marrying the little sister (*cough* Laurie *cough*). That said, I'm also fond of the idea of an Angel/Buffy/Spike threesome as a beautiful counterpoint to the fanged four.

It's so hard to choose! I think it will be : Buffy/Spike( my favourite of Buffy ships)🙂 Willow/Tara, Cordy/Angel, Anya/Xander (for all the funniness)
From not-love ships I'd pick Willow/Xander( I loved their friendship) and Buffy/Giles ( their relantionship was so great, it was so funny when in season1 Giles met Buffy and was confused, he didn't even know how to talk to her, they were so different. But later he started loving her like a daughter, he filled in for a father to her)

It was a writercon I believe. That's my main memory of the point anyway. Jane was the main spokesperson for this little theory though obviously haha. But I remember them saying something about the candy only releasing the inhibitions, so those feelings that made them boink one another on the hood of a police car were already there and definitely always were, the two were just too surburbanly proper to pursue it. It's why they did the Cream scene in Forever; to make the couple canon even if it only existed for one episode.

Also, as an added point both Tony and Kristine stated in interviews that they definitely believe their characters were attracted to one another (And partly because of that Joss always wanted an episode where they had drunken sex, haha) However, the couple never progressed techincally past Band Candy and Forever (although I read into it too much and say otherwise, haha) because not only of the reason mentioned above but also that they had conflicting interests. Giles' job was to send Buffy into danger while it was Joyce's job to protect her.

Sprusilla- Spike and Dru together have to be the darkest, sexiest couple ever! (Can you tell I love them??)

Spuffy- Spike and Buffy is oh so hot!

Darla and Angelus- I don't know the nickname you'd give that, but ooh again that's a great coupling!

i hate to admit to this in a public forum... but if i cant confess here where can i? so i have a thing for the giles/xander pairings in fiction. in the 'real' world though i'm always gunna be a spuffy shipper. oh so tasty kinky scenes.

My favorite canon coupling? Definitely Willow/Tara (is it Twillow, Tillow, Willara...I've heard so many names for their ship). They were so great together. My other favorites were Xander/Anya, Spike/Dru, Giles/Joyce, and Willow/Oz (didn't like them nearly as much as Willow/Tara, but they were still one of the best Buffyverse couples).

My favorite non-canon couples are Spike/Angel (hot!) and Fred/Willow (we all know Willow liked her more than Kennedy!) Oh, and how could I forget Spike/me?

I think my favorite couple is Cordy and Angel..how they never were together,how they slowly realized that they loved each other... I also love Willow-Tara and Xander-Anya,they fit perfectly and they are the saddest couples but what I love about Cordy and Angel is the fact they were both champions that through their good deeds changed and came to know each other better..like Cordy said "Angel,there are no people like us..."<3

Bangel all the way...my absolute favourite fictional couple ever! There wasn't another ship in the series to even come close to them in my opinion...Bangel Go Deo!! fav couple that never was? I think maybe Spaith would win that one...like OMIII said...those scenes in Buffy's basement! nuff said...oh and laugh all you like but spangel would be all kinds of funny!

A Spike/Faith relationship would be really interesting, if not always the most peaceful uf relationships. Where Buffy and Spike tore the house down, Faith and Spike would have reduced it to rubble. where Buffy and Spike would be hot, Spike and Faith could very well reach supernova status.

My favourite ship is Willow/Tara followed closely by Xander/Anya. I used to think I was a Bangel shipper, but now I find myself loving Spuffy too, so can't decide between those two and don't think I will ever be able to.
