Out of all the Buffyverse,which are your fav side characters. By side characters (just to clarify) I mean recurring characters that weren't main cast members.
 
I'm not sure if Oz counts, but if he does I'm going with him. For somebody who was in the opening credits, he was woefully underused, which is a real shame.

EDIT: Nevermind, re-read the first post, guess he doesn't 😛

Otherwise, I'm going with the grain and saying Snyder. I also liked Groo and Gwen a lot, and wish they were in more episodes.

Good question. There's a lot of recurring characters that I like and love. Faith is my favorite character in the Buffyverse but she's technically a recurring character.
  • Snyder was fun and has good lines. One of my favorite lines is "why couldn't you have been doing drugs like normal people?" Yes Synder, cuz 'normal' people do drugs. lol
  • Jonathon I like a lot. Every time Willow interrogates him it's funny. And his death is one of the saddest to me.
  • I like Willy the snitch a lot and was kinda sad they stopped using him in the later seasons.
  • Percy I thought he had good interactions with Willow.
  • Harmony is always funny, on both shows.
  • Jenny Calendar was great and I loved her and Giles.

On Angel:
  • I liked Kate and was disappointed when she left. I thought her and Angel worked well off of each other. That might just be me.
  • Gwen Raiden I thought was awesome. I really wanted to see more of her. I thought she played well off of the main cast.
  • I adored Groo! I totally see why Cordy was into him, even though he wasn't very bright. I love his line something about 'angel is our leader, we must considers his wishes' or something like that. I laughed out loud literally, I thought it was hilarious.

Faith, obviously. 🙂

Not only was she a recurring character that had an actual effect on lots of relationships, she evolved just like a main character on the two shows (hell, sometimes even better than some of the main characters.)


I liked some other recrurring characters too, Snyder, Larry (basically recurring characters from the highschool years.)

From Angel probably Gwen Raiden, she was pretty cool- like an X-man who took a wrong turn and ended up in 'Angel' 🙂

Oh, and Lindsey of course, not evil enough to be just another 'Bad Guy' (like, say, Lilah) he was always fun to watch. He also evolved.

Hm, I'm on the Snyder bandwagon - that guy was just awesome!
And second to him is Faith and the Mayor, I loved him and his OCD cleanliness and evil cheerfulness 🙂

Faith clearly! And also for me Harmony, Andrew and Glory get top nods... and Drusilla and Darla... and Gwen... and Clem 😀 AND JOYCE!!!!

There's just so many good side characters but the Mayor would be my favourite. And Mr Trick was cool, shame he was short-lived 🙁
 
Too many to count...

Faith, The Mayor, Snyder, Joyce, Lindsey, Lilah, Drusilla, Darla, Clem, Glory, Adam, Jenny, etc. That's in no particular order either. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.
 
Holden Webster - I love the therapy scenes! Cassie - I wish she had lived and become a scoob.
