Favorite Spuffy Moment

We have our favorite Spuffy Episodes what are your favorite Spuffy moments? My favorite Spuffy moment would have to be the one where Spike tries to stop Buffy from telling the police about Katrina and Buffy just beats Spike up later on. That scene is so powerful and romantic in a way in the episode Dead Things

and my other favorite Spuffy moment would have to be in Wrecked the very ending when they fight then start to have sex while a building is collapsing. I love the music playing over it so beautiful.

Dead Things was perfect and romantic? No doubt it had many layers and emotions with it, but I wouldn't call it romantic...


My favourite scenes are mostly the endings of episodes: him saving her (for once) in OMWF and the subsequent kiss, the end of FFL, the end of Chosen... Also, his famous speech in Touched.

There are a few I really like, but what comes to mind at the moment:

-The end of Fool For Love
-Buffy kissing him in Intervention
-Spuffy bringing down the house in Wrecked
-Pretty much everything in Dead Things

I need to get through S7 to remember the scenes I like there, but most obvious is his speech in Touched, and when he stands up for her to the Scoobies when they throw her out.

Nothing nothing nothing can top Spikes face when he realizes Buffy is alive in After Life...after his long 147 days without her she is finally back 🙂 and he helps her bandage her wounds. So sweet.

I like all of these, but my favorites are the kiss in Intervention, when he stops her from dancing in OMWF, and the speech in Touched.

I really enjoy the scenes where they fist fight. Spike likes them too.

Love, love, love the Intervention kiss.

I'm also obsessed with the Tabula Rasa kiss.

And pretty much the look on Spike's face any time that he looks at Buffy. lol

I really like the moment in Hell's Bells when he tells her that she's glowing and she says the dress is radioactive. And they giggle.

And I like the scene where they are doing shots in Spike's crypt and she makes the blech face and every time she does he looks at her like she's the most adorable thing ever.


I could go on and on . . .

When Buffy is showing the Potentials how to fight and ends up kind of straddling Spike and pulling up his shirt to see if he's hurt and the potentials are all like "ehm, are we supposed to get all sexy with the vamps?" (sorry I don't remember the exact quote since I rarely re-watch that season) But I love that moment 🙂

 

[Living Dead Boy]

Wow. I'm surprised no one has said the church scene in "Beneath You", where Buffy finally realizes Spike has gained his soul. That scene REMAINS my absolute favorite scene of the entire series, not just because I'm a Spuffy fan. But because it's so....perfect. From Spike's nervous rambling, right down to the music score, I couldn't help but shed a tear. The ultimate reason why I love Spike more than Angel, but that's another thread. 😛

Another runner up is another scene in "After Life", although ALL of the Spuffy scenes were amazing in that episode. The scene in Spike's crypt (and did anybody notice the angel wings outlining her while she walked toward Spike's crypt? Kinda foreshadowed her confession in the end, don't you think?) when Spike says to her, in my favorite Spike monologue:

"I do remember what I said. The promise. To protect her. (pause) If I had done that ... even if I didn't make it ... you wouldn't have had to jump. But I want you to know I did save you. Not when it counted, of course, but ... after that. Every night after that. I'd see it all again ... do something different. Faster or more clever, you know? Dozens of times, lots of different ways ... (softly) Every night I save you."

Ooo, and I think my favorite Spuffy fight scene is when he has the Gem of Amara and attacks her on campus. I just LOVE that one for some reason. The remarks, the fighting, everything was just awesome.

I have a lot of favorites, but the less usual in the Spuffy fandom is probably the one at the beggining of First date (7x14). Their looks and their attitudes around each other are just priceless ♥ I love how they're trying to explain to Giles that they removed the chip. They're so cute in that scene.

Lately, I've been really into the alley scene in FFL when Buffy throws the money at Spike. The emotions that he plays are nothing short of brilliant.

My personal favorite has to be in "After Life" where Spike tells Buffy that he saved her every night in his dreams. Also, the look of happiness on his face when he realizes she's alive, and his concern when he realizes she had to dig her way out of her coffin.

I love the ultimate épisode when there hands ignite and she told him that i love him.
For me it's a beautiful moment with emotion.
I love also when they are alone in the abandoned house (before the last one episode).
He told her a lot of things beautiful and she cry.
It's so moving.

Hi everyone, good to be back, two moments I would pick out:

1) The kiss in Intervention always sticks out in my mind. That was when Buffy first acknowledged there was some good in Spike.
2) The back steps moment also, Spike going to confront and try to kill Buffy, but seeing her crying and suffering cos of loss of her mum and ending up trying to comfort her.

Many others of course, but those two stand out to me. 🙂

Spike and Buffy have played some great scenes, and for all their epicness, for me it's about the subtlety... it's all about that scene at Xander's wedding in "Hell's Belles." You know...when the meet in the hallway. They have that awkward little exchange, and he comments on her dress, and she laughs, and he asks her if it still hurts, and she says it does. There is so much sadness there, and so much genuine, mutual affection. It's the first time they've seen eachother since she "broke up" with him, and they're both trying so hard to be sensitive, mature and respectful. The scene is so beautifully played.
