Willow. No doubt. I think she's the funniest.
Xander is really in-your-face funny, and I love him, but Willow is a lot more subtle, she's more my kind of funny. Plus, I think she's the best villain. I also love Giles, of course. If I had to rank the Scoobies, it would be Willow, Giles, Xander, Buffy.

I voted for Willow as well and I agree with your rankings.
My favorite is Giles. I'm quite partial to the watchers ,and Giles had substantial character progression,and on top of everything else is incredibly funny. Add to this his darker moments and his endearing fatherly charm and it makes him my certain favorite of the core four scoobies. I'd rank all the Scoobies as follows 1.Giles 2. Willow 3.Xander 4. Buffy. Look forward to see what everyone else thinks about this topic. Have fun 🙂
 
Good topic! Mine is a toss up between Willow and Giles. I really love Xander too, but not as much as the other two. If I really had to pick I'd probably say Willow, only because I don't like what they did with Giles in s6-7.
 
Of the core four, Giles is my overall favorite followed by early seasons Willow. Also, I know he wasn't a core scooby, but I really enjoyed Oz.
 
I voted Giles. I thought Anthony Steward Head did an absolutely incredible job with the character, even when there wasn't much going on with him. Giles has this great, understated humor that I think adds a ton to the quality of the show, and his chemistry with just about everyone is top-notch.

Am I the only one who voted for Xander? He was the reason I started watching the show, and while he's no longer my favorite character, he's still in my top three, despite the shit he's done, lol.

Okay, someone else voted for Xander, I feel better now, lol.

For me it was between Xander and Giles, went with Giles for the Ripper episodes!
 
Xander. He's one of my favourite characters end of, and he's one of the characters I connect with the most
 
Though I don't love Willow towards seasons 6-7 I picked her because in the start of the show she was, by far, my favorite except for Buffy 🙂
 
Willow has always been my favorite character, and the one I always identified with. (When I discovered BtVS I actually looked a lot like her, I was/am into computers and when she turned out to be a lesbian I was so happy.)
But Willow would not be half as awesome if Giles wasn't there. He helps her grow so much. Who would she have turned into if he wasn't there!?

My favorite character in the whole show is Xander. So, of course, he's my favorite Scooby.
 
I picked Giles because by the end he is the one that annoyed me the least. Xander angered me in just about every season with the exceptions of 4 and 5 though with Willow things only turned sour for me in seasons 6-7. I actually don't remember ever being mad at Giles so that's why he gets my choice.

Giles has always been my favorite (even though I really love Xander and Willow too). I just love the role he had in the show and how he supported Buffy and the Scoobies as a whole.
 
Giles all the way!

He helped Buffy grow so much, supported and trusted her. He's my top Scoobie and the best Watcher around.
