Zen baby.
Because I don't feel like cleaning my apartment (although I really need to...) and I've been youtubing and first kisses are HOT :biggrin: I thought we could all share our favorites. There are a lot of great first kisses in TV history for sure but the really amazing, heartstopping ones are those that make you lean into the tv and literally squee like a fangirl or boy, lol. So here are mine (in the best order i could put them in without making my head explode with indescision 😛):
1. LoVe- Veronica Mars: Its is number one hands down, everything about it is perfection, the song, the way he just saved her and waited outside for her with the door slightly open, the way he's leaning when she walks out, the way she kisses him first, the way he pulls her back in, how close he holds her, the awkwardness yet tenderness of it, the confusion, the passion, how he looks after her as she drives off, how she looks back....yeah I could go on and on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAr8oevKRnI&feature=PlayList&p=2B16ED3328C8E043&index=0
2. Felicity and Ben- Felicity: The music here is also great but in a completely different way, the way it doesn't fit just kinda makes it fit. The way he rationalizes with her to get her to go with him while being to adoringly smug and then the quick leap off the chair he grabs her head and kisses her leaving her just completely dumbfounded, SO HOT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HEuLlyrSg0&feature=PlayList&p=2B16ED3328C8E043&index=1
3. Michael and Maria- Roswell: "I hate you! Ditto!" Such chemistry, their banter is always superhot and here she is just going on about, "be the guy, say something to make me feel better," so he kisses her...he says to calm her down but of course he'd been wanting to do it forever. 4. Joey and Pacey- Dawson's Creek: The great thing about Joey and Pacey is how we got to see their friendship really grow into something more, I mean there weren't even any signs towards their eventual pairing until S3 and thats rare. But since we started seeing them get closer they became total OTP. And Pacey is perfect, I always have said that Pacey is what the absolute perfect guy would be like. He fell in love with Joey hard but he was patient. This was the point where he couldn't take it anymore, he pulls the car over and just lets her know how he feels. 5. Spike and Buffy- BTVS: This may have been higher on the list, but its hard to decipher when their kiss actually was...I count the kiss from Intervention. Something Blue was under a spell, but so was OMWF kind of. The kiss in Smashed is HOT but there were too many before that for this to be the technical first. One thing that all of the kisses have in common is that she is always the one to go in for the kiss first, and oh how I like that, I think its very telling. The one from Intervention is the most special because there is so much honesty coming from the both of them in that moment. Buffy didn't have to kiss him at all in that moment. She could have just kissed him on the cheek, or not at all, but she does and its great. (Couldn't find the clip on youtube anywhere but you all know what it looks like 🙂 )
6. Angel and Cordy- AtS: No explanation needed with this one. Man, it was just about time... too bad it was also the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJevRVez2H0 For the record, I just cried AGAIN watching that clip.
7. Alex and Izzie- Grey's Anatomy: I mean come on, he walks in says nothing grabs her, dips her and kisses the shit out of her. If there is ever a way to redeem yourself for acting weird previously, THAT is it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBRPhuoqiBM
8. Micheal and Sara- Prison Break: It seemed like initially he kissed her only to distract her and get her keys but he never did grab them cause he loooooves her and is of course far more interested in kissing her and looking in her eyes than decieving her.
