Favorite Villain??

Caleb was probably the best villain - he's the only one who ever really disturbed me. His evil was so pure and unadulterated - it was frightening.

I think that part of the reason Angelus and Willow make such good villains is because we know them and love them when they aren't "evil" so the things that they say when they're evil are more personal and hit home and therefore have more of an effect. :devy:
 
Hyena Xander, Drusilla, Angelus and Vamp Willow/Vamp Xander were best villains ever.
 
The mayor is probably my favourite- he was such a brilliant character, i can just imagine hoe much fun the cast and the writers would have had creating him, he was like the cute relative who cares to much and moans about how often you brush your teeth and when you put your elbows on the table, but at the same time he wants to eat you lol- he was brilliant. However when angelus was back i could not stop watching, he was great as a bad guy as well and it was really sad the way he could get to buffy-willow was fab too.
 
Ooooh, tough choice. It would probably have to be a tie between Angelus, the Mayor and Ethan Rayne, although if i had to choose i would go with the Mayor. Such a fantastically written character!

Truthfully, my favourite villain would technically be Spike (hell, my favourite character overall is Spike) but i didn't include him as he ended up a hero, thereby disqualifying himself from the options. Had to find some reason to pick somebody who wasn't Spike for a change, lol! 😀
 
Angelus definately...who wouldn't love those leather pants...lol so evil!!!
But then would come Faith, Glory, and Caleb...maybe the Trio as they were kinda cute!
 
At the risk of being boring, I'm going with The Mayor as well. So many layers to that character! He could turn in a moment from lovable, funny and fatherly to just cold evil. Next I'd pick Glory. I also enjoyed The Master. More for comic reasons, as a villian he was pretty impotent until Prophecy Girl. Like when they had the 'quake and he's crying out, "Yes! YES! Shake, Earth! This is a sign! We are in the final days! My time has come! Glory! GLORY!" Then turns to The Annointed One and calmly says, "Whadaya think, 5.1?"
 
For Buffy, it's gotta be Angelus. He was just deliciously evil. For Angel, it's Lilah. I just loved her.
