I had to go with the library. It's where it all began. 🙂 And I always found it funny how no one ever used it, in a school no less, lol! 😀

Definitely The Library. Such a classic and so many great moments happened there. It always makes me think of buffy aerobicising, finding out that she is going to die, willow catching cander in the act. Then of course there's the fact that it has beautiful interior. Probably one of my favourite sets ever.
If the Hyperior was in the running I think it would give the library a run for it's money.

The Magic Box was awesome 🙂
The Library comes in at a close second though, Giles apartment slowly started to drive me crazy and Buffy's house would've been cool but it was always filled with potentials, so no go there.

Giles apartment just seemed to crowded and cramped all the time. I wish they had have taken more advantage of the outside area cause it was really quite pretty. It was the only Season that didn't heavily feature a vampire, so they should have taken more advantage of plenty of outside hangouts. I guess another reason that Giles apartment didn't work for me as a base was because it wasn't always the base. Season 4 was so all over the place. Hanging out at college, then there were heaps of scenes in Buffy/Willows room, then sleepovers at Xanders. I just felt like after Season 3 was so grounded it would have been nice to have somewhere comfortable and homey in Season 4. Whether that was going to be a spot in the sun at campus, Giles apartment or Xanders basement. Just somewhere more steady.

Wow, I thought The Magic Box would get more votes. I voted for The Magic Box. I love how there's books and magic stuff ready for them to use. And it's kinda safer to discuss things than in the library.

As soon as I looked at the choices, I immediately went for The Magic Box. But when I started to think about them, I found myself actually rather attached to Giles' and Buffy's houses. I loved the idea that the Slaying was slowly encroaching more and more upon their lives. It progressed from being a monster of the week thing that they could handle between classes to, basically, Buffy's only function. I thought the invasion of their homes (first Giles', as he wanted to keep it away from her, but inevitably her own) was a very good way to show this.
But The Magic Box was just so much damn fun. Season 5 is my favourite season though, so it's no wonder I like it so much. It allowed for serious discussion, nice training scenes that weren't kind of ridiculous (like, say, kickboxing IN A HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY), and a whole bunch of silly magical gags. Like Anya and Giles summoning rabbits. Or the mummy hand. Or even just Willow being completely unable to gift-wrap.
I don't have much attachment to the Library, I'm afraid. I didn't really mind seeing it blown up.

Tough choice, but the Library gets my vote too.
It's the place where the Scoobie Gang started out, where they did their first research sessions and averted their first disasters. I like that so much was always going on in there, but to the other couple hundred people in Sunnydale High it was just a regular library. Somehow nobody ever noticed the stacks of occult books laying around I guess. 😛
Anyway, I just find that the Library had a charm that the other hangouts never did. It was the first place that the gang called home, and I think the set meshed with the character of the show better than any others that were introduced.

Voted the Magic Box. The Library would be my second choice. I just LOVE Magic Box... I think the set was so beautiful, the light, the colors, the second floor with the forbidden books... that door with the old bell... the round table. I´d love to go to a place like the Magic Box *-*
