Spike gained my preference after he did the face-crushing kiss with Buffy in season 4. Giles doesn't crush people's faces. 🙂

That's just because he never had the chance! If Angelus hadn't killed Jenny it would have been some serious face crushing going on when Giles walked upstairs 😀
