okay, who's your absolute favourite? hmm...i like both angel and wesley, but i vote for wesley 😉 dunno...i guess i'm a sucker for british accents ::heheheh:: but i like his persona too, mind you :: tu ::
 
My favorite is really a tie between Wesley (I always identify with the bookworm) and the Host (great development of an originally minor character), but I picked Wes because he's the major player of the two, and because his "dark side" has grown so interesting in the last few episodes of S3.
 
I agree that Wesley is the better of the group. He has grown a lot sense he was on Buffy and his character I think was handled the best this whole season. Everyone else has either grown to soft or just you can't really relate anymore. Other then him I would have said Cordelia but I think the end of Season 3 really threw me off because she wasn't really herself anymore she was to kind and considerate it was kind of like they wanted to make her a counsiler or something.

I, too, found Wes's character development since he was Buffy's would-be Watcher to be truly impressive.

And I also think they've taken away too much of Cordelia's edge in Season 3. The only scene I can think of where she really seemed *herself* was in "Billy" during her confrontation with Lilah--especially the cheap shot about the badly-applied mascara.
 
I used to really love Angel, but they've changed his character so much in Season 3. I've only seen the beginning of this Season, but he really is different now. I suppose he still is my favourite character, but really just in Seasons 1 & 2. I also love Darla, she was brilliant in Season 2. 🙂 If not Angel, Darla would be my favourite character. Doyle was one of my favourite characters, I was so sad to see him go. 🙁 Then Cordy and Wes, amazing character development, they're both solid characters in the show. But haven't seen how Cordy's now lost her edge, so have to get back to you on that.

Fred's a great character, a good addition to the show, and Lorne adds a great sense of humour. 😀 Gunn, well. I'm not actually that fond of him in Season 3, end of Season 1 & in Season 2 he was a good character though. 🙂

I absolutely love Wolfram & Hart. Been there since the very beginning, and still here now. They're the continual 'baddies,' it's great. 🙂 Another of the differences between BtVS & Angel. Lindsey was great, sad to see him go, but they did that well. The sign on the back of his truck left by Angel as a leaving present. 😀 Lilah's good, but her hair at the beginning of Season 3 was a little scary. 😛

i must agree, i think he has change, but i dont quite know wether it is for the better or worse, But i still vote Angel, No matter how much they change his character, I'll still have season 1 2 3 of buffy, and anyway he is who he is, and if the writers decided to change him even more, im sure David will play him brillantly
 
Still Wesley, even more now that he's so clearly his own man.

But has anyone noticed that it's Lorne, the demon, who has the most geniune (as opposed to treacly) human empathy on the show?
 
who i choose

i choose "other". i choose some1 who was only on the show for 2 eps but who to me is the best and most important charachter of them all. it's buffy. like i think that on btvs angel is the best charachter ever. buffy has the kind of effect on angel, that the moment he could, he would leave cordelia (doom on her! doom on her! doom on her! lol) and the rest of the "a-team" and leave for her. but he can't not yet. their time will come. just not yet. at what point did always and forever end?
 
wouldn't Faith be more classified as a buffy character than an angel i mean if she does come back the place she'll finally end up is in Sunnydale.And my favourite character is Fred I think she is so sweet
 
I chose Angel, not cause he's fine cause i love his character that was the only reason i started t watch Buffy then he left!! But then he has his own show even though i wish he woz Buffy! But theres hope!
 
I voted for Wesley, he's grown so much from Buffy. Although, I still really miss Doyle. He had such potential to be a wonderful and expanded character, but now we'll never know.
 
Wes! It will always totally be Wes in my heart. I've loved him for years, i have a site dedicated to the guy, and whether he is prissy watcher, rogue demon hunter or hot bad ass i love him. I love the way he has developed, plus he is hot

Close runner ups are Connor (hot!) and Lorne (sweet!)
