favourite episodes in angel season 1

My favorite was I will Remember You. It continued the great tortured love angle of Buffy and Angel and was very, very sad. Nothing twists the gut like a great love being taken away.
 
Ye I agree with you JossFan.
You could feel your heart churning and beating and not knowing what will happen next between these two.
 
well, besides the obvious ones (five by five/sanctuary/in the dark)
I like The Ring ALOT, i know most don't like it but i enjoy it every time...
Actually I think this season was pretty good, i wish Doyle would have lived more but well, Wesley's cool
 
Okay, now that I've finally seen the whole season (thanks to the DVDs), these are my favourites (in order):
Hero
Five by Five
To Shanshu in LA
In the Dark
..but most of the season was really awesome!
 
My favourite episodes were the first nine with Doyle, but above all,

In The Dark (3rd ep)
I Will Remember You (9th or so ep)
Hero (10th or so ep)
 
City Of. In the Dark. I will Remember You. Hero. Somnambulist.

first one was cool, in the dark was hilarious, I will remember you and hero were really emotive, I loved them, Somnambulist was cool cause it showed just what a vampire on human blood could do.
 
I liked Room with a View...the ending is priceless! And of course "I Will Remember You" & "Sanctuary"
 
anything with my fave character Doyle, but the best would be Hero. he was so brave and great in that episode. I was soo sad though

yeah, the eps w/ doyle were cool, I miss doyle, he was awsome! I expected them to get doyle and cordy together! 🙁 ::crying::
 
I will remember you and Room with a view 😀

I cried so much at the end of I will remember you and Room with a view was just great 😀
 
somnambulist was also amazing... fenn is the kind of character that could've easily beek kept for more episodes
 
I Will Remember You. For me it's still one of those danger-episodes you only watch if you're willing to go through a half-box of kleenex.

The Ring was really very cool though. Something about seeing all those Demons assuming Angel was just another wimpy vampire made me laugh. It just emphisized how deceptively powerful Angel can be - he looks no different than any other vampire, but he's 300 years older than most of the vampires they would have dealt with (counting his time in hell)
 
I think everybody just loves I Will Remember You, Heroes, Five by Five/Sanctuary and to Shanshu in L.A.

They're the best of Season One, definitely.

i agree with the majority 5 x 5 etc. but i also liked the prodigal - i love flashback episodes and Elisabeth rohm acted brilliantely when kates father was murdered - i love this ep. too.
