So, after doing the Buffy's love life without Angel/Spike thread it seems that there a lot more closet Fuffy fans than I thought. (I know of at least one convert out there... 😀)

So, that being discovered what is your favourite Fuffy moment? With all the subtext, sexual tension, suggestive glances, the grunting and dancing...that cgoes on on the show

Also, this doesn't have to just mean anything romantic, but as friends, fellow slayers, frenemies, anything. Go crazy.

Mine might seem a bit strange, but, in the final battle with the First Evil, when Buffy is stabbed and goes down, Faith, possibly the only one who sees it, yells, Buffy!" and runs to her side. Buffy hands her the Scythe and says, "Hold the line..." That moment, to me, when Buffy figuratively passes leadership over to Faith, willingly, not because she is outvoted or thrown out, illustrates Faith's actual concern for Buffy, and Buffy's ultimate trust in Faith.

Of course, when they're dancing together in the Bronze after patrol in Season 3 is pretty hot, too.

Never thought of it like that. But I love it!
I'll try and keep this to a few...no more than 5 I promise.

1) Their conversation in 'Bad Girls', on the campus, when Faith is saying how Buffy gets 'juiced' during slaying. Never before or since have we seen Buffy so blush-y and shy with another girl. Total shipper bait. 😀

2) Faith drawing that heart on the window. Buffy's reaction. Faith's smile and little raised eyebrow. *sigh*

3) That dance at the Bronze, the one that was so awesome they put it in the show's opening credits.

4) The whole rooftop scene in 'Sanctuary'. Buffy's righteous rigid anger, Faith's broken contrition, her speech to Buffy, and then Buffy saving Faith's life from machine gun fire. See, she still cares.

5) 'Hot chicks with superpowers.' Easily one of the best scenes of S7. Shows them slowly trying to rebuild their tentative trust/friendship/relationship, whilst also showing how these two know each other better than anybody else, because of the nature of their calling.
Two sides of the same coin, two paths into darkness and they emerge on the other side stronger.
Add to that the 'defensiveness and weird mixed signals' thing that Buffy says...oh yeah, all those old, repressed feelings are resurfacing. 🙂

6) That final shot of Buffy smiling at the Sunnydale crater- the last frame of the series and Faith is standing right behind her. The amount of (good) fan-fic that has been written about these two post S7 is staggering so this shot always makes me smile.

Is your favorite episode 'Bad Girls'? lol

What a second....you never said we could choose more than one scene!
Every scene with Buffy and Faith is awesome. I would say that my favorite scene is the rooftop scene in 'Sanctuary'. All there emotions coming out and Faith asking to make it better, is just great. I also love the scene scene in 'Enemies'. You can really feel the sexual tension there. Plus I love Buffy's line to the gang at the beginning of 'Revelations' where she says that shes seeing someone tonight, and it turns out it's Faith, so she says they're just friends.

Add to that the 'defensiveness and weird mixed signals' thing that Buffy says...oh yeah, all those old, repressed feelings are resurfacing.
Yes! What does Buffy mean by that? I get the defensiveness thing, we see that in Faith. But is this Buffy's acknowledgement that Faith was into her, and maybe she was into it, but got confused by the 'weird mixed signals?' I like to think so.

1. The dancing scene at The Bronze from "Bad Girls".
2.The recurring dream Faith keeps on having with her and Buffy changing the sheets on the bed, until she starts bleeding...

Every scene with Buffy and Faith is awesome.
I agree, which is why it's a bit hard for me to choose...

While I like the lesbian subtext between them (Shallow, I know), its not the main reason I like Fuffy.

Awww, Faith asked Buffy out to Homecoming. And stood up to Scott Hope for her.

"Really, we're just good friends." Sure, Buffy, whatever. If not for the presence of Giles it would have been a straight-up date.

Dancing at the Bronze. What's strange is that the Bronze normally plays slow songs, but in this scene they're suddenly playing Chinese Burn, which has a fast, vigorous beat. Must reflect on Buffy's mood when she's with Faith. Also, when Angel shows up and is jealous of Buffy 'making friends', who else thought he was talking about Faith instead of the three guys?!

"Give us a kiss." You know it's true love if you honestly feel the whole thing could have been solved with a kiss.

"Let's have another go at it. See who lands on top." Doug Petrie is a fellow Fuffy shipper.

Their conversation in 'End of Days'... all those old familiar feelings starting to come back ("I'm tired of weirdness and defensive mixed signals")...

Faith should have used 'Want Take Have' on Buffy btw. 😀

I used to sometimes get angry at Sanctuary. It felt like it was intentionally making Buffy the bad guy since Faith was trying to do better and Buffy was all like F U.

In retrospect, the aforementioned confrontation on the roof, and Buffy saving Faith's life, isn't so bad. Buffy still cares deeply about Faith, which is why she's so hurt.

As for my favorite scenes, of course all the stuff already mentioned here is great. But I made this little video years and years ago now that I'm still proud of.

The scene with Faith and Joyce in "This Year's Girl" is such a powerful and I think underrated Fuffy moment. Faith is just overflowing with so many sensations, emotions, and at the root of it all is her constant fear of abandonment by those she cares for. It says a lot about Faith's psychology and the profound relationship she formed with Buffy that she almost seemed certain Buffy would be there for her when she woke up.

And the fact Buffy wasn't, the fact she had moved on, hurt Faith so very deeply.

Great video! Had not heard that commentary. It's great!
For me the biggest piece of evidence that Faith had unresolved feelings for Buffy was The First (as the Mayor, who knew Faith better than anyone, no less) saying she only wanted Buffy to accept her, maybe even love her. Now that could just be The First trying to get under her skin, but notice how Faith doesn't deny it; in fact, her frustrated response ("You a shrink now") sounds like Faith saying, "OK, you got me, so what's your point?"

Actually not everyone feelings this way but I totally get Buffy's position and why she would feel that way at Angel helping Faith. Sure she's on Angel's turf, but I can understand why she came after Faith, and why she would think that all her chances were up. Not that I'm trying to kill the Fuffy vibe or anything😛

I agree, I think Buffy has a right to be a bit upset. But I love the rooftop scene because both girls let it out how they feel, even though both get a bit defensive, I think it gives them a lot to think about. And it's probably what makes Faith decide to turn herself in.

Their conversation in "End of Days".
And their conversation in London after Giles died.

Yeah, both great conversations. I love the 'thank God we're hot chicks with superpowers' line; it really puts a nice cap on their relationship as both girls now understand how the other feels, and Faith even admits for the first time that she was jealous of Buffy. Also the totally nonchalant look Faith gives Buffy when she reveals what she and Wood were up to while Buffy was on leave.

The second one because it's the last actual conversation the two girls have and because it's at an extension of the one mentioned above -- while they surely understood each other before, this time Buffy actually has hit rock bottom and Faith is there to offer moral support.

This is super hard to do, but top 10:
1. Buffy and Faith making a bed together in their dream in This Year's Girls. Seriously, why are they making a bed? I'm assuming they just had sex in it.
2. Faith kissing Buffy on the forehead in Enemies. Knowing about the shooting script makes it more validated but also more frustrating!
2. Heart on the window in Bad Girls. Just...please.
3. Buffy forehead kiss in Graduation Day.
4. Their shared dream in Graduation Day. Faith reaching out to touch Buffy's face, giving her her belongings, "is this my mind or yours?". Also, there's a random cat, which I think symbols lesbianism on some level. Remember how Willow and Tara adopted a cat together?
5. Faith watching Riley/Buffy jealously through the window in This Year's Girl.
6. Buffy: "I'm tried of defensiveness and weird, mixed signals. I have Faith for that." This is canon! Buffy knows Faith loves her!
7. "Deep down you always wanted Buffy to accept you, to love you even" "You a shrink now?" 100% canon gayness.
8. "Give us a kiss" "See who lands on top", etc. Yup.
9. Faith complaining to Joyce in This Year's Girl about Buffy "dumping" her and hoping on her new "boy toy."
10. Faith asking Buffy to Homecoming and on other dates.
Bonus:
11. Faith taking a bath and...doing things while in Buffy's body. A little creepy yes. Gay? Yes.

All great Fuffy moments!
Everyone else has listed some of my favourite scenes. I think ED and SMG have fantastic chemistry, and both doe-eyed tiny people makes for a good mirror image. The shots of them together look great.
