Favourite Giles-type

A sentence with "Giles" and "boring" in it doesn't make much sense, unless there's a "never" added it somewhere along the line.

I really miss an "all of the above" in the poll, but in absence of that, I go for Librarian Giles - just out of love for that library setting and Highschool Year Sentimentality. Especially late S2 (past "Dark Age") to S3 Giles, when we knew the Ripper was there.

I picked Magic Giles just because I had to pick something for my avatar. I like all his aspects, too, not the least when he's the father-figure.
By the way, I just came back from England - had a visit in Bath and Westbury among other things. I can see why Giles would want to live there... I'll go back as soon as I can!

I agree with Joyce (although not so much with the swoonage!). Magic Box Giles was like an amalgam of them all. We saw Librarian Giles with the training and the researching, we saw Ripper when he took out Ben and when he did that thing to one of Glory's minions to make them talk, we saw Daddy Giles when the Council came to play, and we saw Giles and Anya's relationship grow, which was great. I did miss the nervous, social awkwardness of previous seasons sometimes, but I like that he grew up and accepted his whole Ripper persona.

I have always thought that Giles felt most at home with all the old dusty books (that smelled) at the library.

So I voted for Librarian Giles
