What's your favourite movie ever? The one that no other could ever beat? More than just a passing craze, your absolute favourite.

For me, it's Dirty Dancing.

I love it so much, recently though, whenever Patrick Swayze comes on screen I start crying! I feel so sad for how gorgeous, full of life and energy he was, and now he's gone. It seems awful.

I have two movies that I never get tired of watching: "Steel Magnolias" and "Bed of Roses". 🙂 Both are chick flicks and I love the storyline in each.

Favourite and best might not be the same but since favourite is easier I'm not complaining.

The Shawshank redemption.

No no, I'm not asking for the best.
I agree, favourite and best are totally different. Favourite is what I'm asking for.

Unless someone changed the thread title I'm blind. Could have sworn is said best. Oh well. Wouldn't be the first time I make a mistake.
My favorite movie of all time is Welcome To The Dollhouse. from 1995.
Amazing black comedy about little Dawn Wiener who is a loser, in school, at home, she's a loser. It's funny and sad, it's fantastic!

I love 'Welcome to the Dollhouse"! Never heard of anyone else that's liked it before, you've got a friend for life in me, haha

I know right! :D no one ever talks about that movie, it's a shame cos it deserves more love
Dogville. No movie finale has ever even come close to the impact that Dogville's ending had on me. The rest of the film is brilliant too.

I'm not sure. I adore In Bruges as it has everything you could want in a film, but I also love Paris J'etaime (or however you spell it). I love the way it's split into lots of different stories, it helps sustain my (short) attention.

My absolute all-time favorite movie of all my favorite movies is Jurassic Park.

I grew up with that movie and I've watched it easily 20 or so times. Probably more.
The sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park is also really cool, but the third one kinda sucks. Well, it's actually OK, but if you compare it to the first two, it's garbage (in my opinion of course).

The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it's so fun and weird. It's the only film that I remember re-watching loads of times. I must have seen it about 6 or 7 times now, and I only discovered it a couple of years ago.

RHPS is a great movie.
My all time favorite is "the graduate". I also really like "rat race". It's my go to movie when I want to cheer up. I get so happy watching it and the ending makes me feel absolutely elated!

Rat Race!
This one is easy. It's LoTR. For me there's LoTR and then there's the rest. 😉

EDIT: There are plenty of movies I love, but none touched me the way the LoTR movies did in 01/02/03. I was dying waiting for each during these years, ahhhh!

Hmmm, this is a tough question because there are so many movies I love. But I'll have to say Breakfast At Tiffany's because it's an amazing romantic comedy and I adore the character Holly Golightly.

Audrey/Holly love!
Well I have so many but okay if it is just one I think I am going with The Breakfast Club because A) It is by the amazing John Hughes and B) It has everyone in it plus it makes me cry, smile everything in one.

Dirty dancing and Sixteen Candles was close but I have loved The Breakfast Club besides for The Goonies for like ever.
