Favourite movies starring Buffy/Angel cast?

Off topic but PLEASE tell me you’ve watched the Clerks cartoon @Anyanka Bunny Slayer

Also, say “Dragonball Evolution”. Go ahead, say that’s your favorite movie starring James Marsters. See what happens 👊

No, I haven't. But I've seen Clerks 2, Mall Rats, Dogma, and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back. In fact, I own the DVDs. 😁

Dragonball Evolution is NOT my favourite movie. 😋

You should check it out. It’s hilarious. Probably even moreso with some…herbal encouragement 😉
I have a "portion control" problem with herbal stuff... actually, with ANYTHING that's even vaguely intoxicating. 🥳 I'm like those fish that eat all the fish food when you feed them. 😅

Lego Batman movie is actually so good
Nicholas Brendon in Coherence - Good sci-fi thriller with an interesting concept and a decent performance from NB

Lindsay Crouse (Maggie Walsh) in House of Games - Really well written, entertaining and darkly comic noir-ish thriller with a much better performance from LC than she gave in Buffy and the classic line "Where am I from? I'm from the United States of Kiss My Ass"

Clea DuVall (Marcie Ross) directed Happiest Season a really likeable and funny seasonal rom-com-drama. And she has been in a few decent films like The Faculty, Identity, 21 Grams, Argo.
Although she will always be Sofie to me 🙂

Wait you have seen Clerks 2 but not the first Clerks !! You have to watch Clerks - one of the funniest films ever.
And as @Plasma said about the the Clerks cartoon, it is definitely complimented by some herbal encouragement

Incidentally, Amber Benson wrote, directed, and starred (along with James Marsters) a movie called Chance. I have not been able to find it anywhere.

Andy Hallett was in it too

She filmed it partly at Buffy studios during The Gift (or just after that)

I'd just like to be able to see it once.
I saw High Plains Invaders starring James Marsters. It is a story about extraterrestrials coming to earth in the wild west to get uranium and of course, people in the town have been mining uranium.

True Lies - Eliza Dushku
Wrong Turn - Eliza Dushku
Valentine - David Boreanaz
House On Haunted Hill - James Marsters
Capture Of The Green River Killer - James Marsters ( small role )
Scooby-Doo- SMG
Scooby-Doo Monsters Unleashed - SMG
Cruel Intentions - SMG
I Know What You Did Last Summer - SMG
Scream 2 - SMG

Ok....I seem to be the only one but I absolutely loved Sarah's movie Simply Irresistible. I thought the whole falling in love is magical metaphor was great.

I liked "P.S. I Love You", which had James Marsters in it, in a small role.
I really wanted to like this, but just couldn't.

Same with Just Married, that had Christian Kane in it.

Maybe I should give both another try.

P.S. I Love You is a very chick-flic-y film. I think you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it.
I wouldn’t say it’s a fav - it was pretty bad actually - but I watched one of the Saw movies the other day and was surprised to see Julie Benz was in it.

I'll just stick to horror movies for simplicity:

Ticks (1993) with Seth Green. I wouldn't say it was great exactly, but it's pretty gross. And it does give you tick paranoia.

Black Christmas (2006) with Michelle Trachtenberg. Not a patch on the original but much, much better re-make than the more recent (hideous) effort. It's fun at the start, all the cast members are well-realised enough, but the lazy 'twist' muddles it up some. Plus Christmas cookie trauma.

Wrong Turn (2003) A distinctly average 'backwoods slasher' that somehow spawned a franchise of, like, 6 awful sequels...and a pretty decent 're-imagining'. Eliza Dushku is a good Final Girl in it though and that's all that matters.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Hot take; Sarah's way better in this that she is in Scream 2 (which is basically a cameo). Hot take II; Helen should've been the Final Girl in this, she's better than Jennifer's character and her arc would've been more meaningful.

Soul Survivor and Valentine are stinkers...but I own the DVD's so I must confess that I have re-watched and enjoyed both.

Yeah, it's cute, not great. But I did like that when the main character is thinking about a new job, "vampire slayer" is one of the options!

Came across a movie a few months back called The Griddle House, starring Amber Benson, Charisma Carpenter and Clare Kramer. Its a bit of a slow burn film, but worth seeing.
