favourite restless dream
Giles's dream was my favourite--ie the close up of Buffy laughing was a nice shot.
Anyway, I was watching 'School Hard' the other day, and there was a shot of Buffy in the hallway during the attack on parent/teacher night--Buffy was looking through the axe-hole left in the door, and you could only see Joyce's eyes through the hole, much like the little of of Joyce that could be seen through the uni wall in Buffy's dream. If in real life, where parts of our daily activities end up in our dreams in a mixed up form, is it possible Joss Whedon took bits and pieces of the first four seasons and inserted them into Restless (not actual footage from the past seasons, but framing similar angles, incidents, and so on)? If Joss was using themes and reshooting aspects of existing films (ie Apocalypse Now, Death of a Sales Man, and so on) is it possible he is reshooting aspects of earlier episodes?
