Season 3..I loved it! it had Angel, The Mayor and Faith, The whole Xander/Cordy/Willow/Oz story, Buffy/Angel story! it was tres bien!
 
Season six. There were a lot of bad episodes, but c'mon! Dark Willow, Once More, With Feeling, Buffy resurrected, Life Serial, As You Were, Tabula Rasa..........
 
Season three was, IMO, by far the best. It had conistently top notch episodes (with Gingerbread being perhaps the only exception). It introduced the character Faith. Oz was a regular at this time. The Mayor was a charming Big Bad, and a nice change of pace. All the original gang were still around. Many great dramatic and comedic moments.

Season two was good, but the show peaked in season three.
 
IMO Season 6 was the best w/ s5&7 tied for a very close second. I loved season six. I don't understand why so many people bash it. Like Lethe said Dark Willow, Tabula Rasa, OMWF. You don't get much better
 
season3: faith, angel pretending to be angelus, the mayor..., the season6, that i think most people didn't like because it was so dark.., and s7/s4
 
I loved season 3! The whole good slayer/bad slayer storyline was great and the fights between Buffy and Faith were excellent. The relationship between Buffy and Angel was so bittersweet.
 
Season 6 with Willow becoming over powered with Magic, Xander and Anya's planning of the wedding from hell andBuffy dealing with being pulled from heaven...pure entertainment to me!
 
S6. I remember when the time of S6 was being aired it was being bashed like no ones business but these days it is seen by a lot of peeps as there favourite season! I love S6!!!
 
Depends on what day of the week you catch me... today I'm thinking I like Season 6 cause I've been watching the episodes all over the holiday... the whole Buffy/Spike combination makes for good TV. Then again, I haven't seen a load of episodes from the end of Season 4, start of Season 5 for ages so I could change my mind.
 
I would have to say Season 3. It was a GREAT season. It had everything. Humor, And Sadness, Drama and other stuff. Lol! Plus I loved the whole Xander eppie.
 
I love season 3. It was so cohesive and the plotlines were so great, and the mayor was my favorite big bad, and I looooove Faith. The Faith and Mayor dynamic was awesome, and Grad. Day is an awesome ending to high school. Perfectly balanced between comedy and drama.

I also love season 4, and no one can convince me otherwise!
 
Season 7: CWDP,LMPTM, Potentials, Xander getting maimed, Spike sacrificing himself (although it was a bit spoiled by WB announcing a week before that Spike would be on Angel), Potentials,Wheel Chair fight, "Storyteller" the funniest ep ever made, The pig in the basement, and a clever little character by the name of Andrew.
 
Mine is season 5. then probably season 6. followed by season 3 then its a toss up between 1,2 and4
