I haven't seen Classic Who, and I can't rank episodes. So, I'll just list my favorite episodes from each season of New Who that I've seen.

S5. The Time of the Angels/Flesh and Stone and The Lodger

S8. Mummy on the Orient Express and Flatline

I haven't seen the 13th Doctor's episodes.

Daleks in Manhattan

That two parter seems unpopular in the fandom but I've never had a problem with it, what do you like about it?

Yeah I don't get why people don't like it. The ending with the the human Dalek face looks a bit goofy, which is why I went with the first episode of the two parter. But I love the setting of New York in the 30's and I like seeing a young Andrew Garfield. I just think it's one of the more fun/stylistic episodes of that season. I'm not as big on Human Nature/Family of Blood like some people are. Grant it, I haven't seen season 3 in a long time. I just started getting back in DW, and I'm still on season 1.

I think they did a good job with the setting, it felt quite educational as far as portraying the great depression, they used the term Hoovervilles and the situation with the workers taking really bad outside jobs because they're desperate for money felt accurate, it just wasn't for Daleks in real life 😄

I have to say that I wasn't particularly taken with the Steven Moffat showrunner era. I didn't like the script quality and although Matt Smith did grow on me, I loathed Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor. I was relieved when he finally regenerated into Jodie's Thirteenth Doctor and Chris Chibnall's period saw a vast improvement in the quality of the show. And now Russell T.Davies is back and Ncuti Gatwa is the Fifteenth Doctor!
