Favourite Theme tunes

ahh, heres that thread... I posted this in the F1 thread...but as a theme tune, nothing on this planet will make me run down stairs to watch it other than this...

I remember watching F1 as a kid back in the day when it was on BBC and being totally enthralled. So hearing the begining of the opening sequence has me every time.

TV drama wise, I would say Smallvilles 'save me' is my favourite. I say that since after 8 seasons, im not sure if I have ever skipped passed it. Buffy's by the end of S1 I was fed up with the theme tune.
 
Okay, I feel like I need to bring in my childhood anthem....the German Sailor Moon tune!

EDIT: I just realized I used to be so anime crazed, and especially into the theme of Case Closed (we call it Detektiv Conan in German)...my best friend and I even knew like all the original Japanese lyrics by heart...oh man, we were such geeks!

I love the buffy theme tune just for the fact that it was one if the things that drew me into the show.

Yes! Totally agree with you on Tru calling! Youtube sucks sometimes, 50 versions of tru's opening, all with either different soundtracks or stupid montages

all self respecting L Word fans hate Betty, and the theme

(and wanted it to be changed season after season, IC knew it was bad and that the fans hated it but she liked to biscuit off the fans... re- Jenny/Dana/the ending)

Oh crap. No i actually genuinely really love the L-Word opening. I didn't know people hated it... why do they? I don't want to lose my L-Word fan cred cause of this 😉 I did watch all seasons back to back recently, not over the years so maybe that has something to do with it... I dunno...

I'm sure IC is glad someone likes it, no the way i see it is most of the fans love the characters (except jenny, tho i love jenny) and hate the show, they rip it apart all the time and dont see it as just a tv show.

I think they should have stuck with the season 1 opening myself.

(they got accused of stealing from The Sound of Music for the theme song)
