What's yours?

My current love and obsession is House M.D starring Hugh Laurie. I always liked the show but just recently I've realised exactly how fantastic it is and have been mad about it ever since. Laurie is just top drawer, one of the best actors around, and really makes the show what it is. I adore the House/Wilson friendship and I'm also a huge supporter of the potential House/Cuddy romance, Hugh and Lisa Edelstein have some of the best chemistry I've seen between actors for a long time.

I just watched an ep of that Brit TV six parter, Jekyll this afternoon. Great stuff. Gotta see more of that.

Thank God for the internet. The best TV I've seen lately is stuff I wouldn't have access to otherwise. Just finished Rome. Loved that.

Like Randy Giles I've been checking out these pre-air things for the upcoming fall season. I too will be on board for Pushing Daisies, and Bionic Woman. (although the latter scares me, because apparently they've been bending over for the network, and making stupid changes)

For network TV, I'll be looking forward to finding out what that finale of Lost was suggesting, but that's about it.

I've seen a pre-air of Dexter. It's going to be as great this season as it was last.

Not so optimistic for Weeds. I've seen 4 of those, and it's like they're running out of ideas, so they're forcing silly stuff in.

I'm looking forward to Dirt's second season. Hopefully they'll have one.

Doctor Who, of course, and I'll be checking out Torchwood for James Marsters, and the Martha arc.

Others (non-summer): Heroes, Smallville, Supernatural, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Southpark, 24.

Plan to watch: Terminator - The Sarah Conner Chronicles (based on pre-air pilot and because I love Summer Glau). Also I'm waiting to see the Bionic Woman pre-air pilot but the reviews are promising.

Would watch (if could): The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Survivor.

Old (canceled) series worth watching/renting if available (besides Angel, Buffy and Firefly) on DVD or downloaded: John Doe, Roswell, The Pretender, Brimstone, Farscape, Dark Angel, Alias (Season 1 and 2 only), Kindred, Forever Knight.

That's about it, at least what comes to mind right now. There are other okay shows that I may watch but would be hesitant to recommend such as One Tree Hill, Charmed, Nowhere Man, Desperate Housewives, Stargate SG-1, Blood Ties, Doctor Who, and Torchwood.

As you can probably tell I'm mostly into Sci-fi.

I've also recently became a House fan actually. Starting watching it about a month ago or something, and at first it was just something to keep me busy, but after a while I really couldn't stop watching. Can't wait for the next season.

Other than that, hm, of things on TV right now (not cancelled shows), I like: Battlestar Galactica, Weeds, Bones.

I forgot to include Prison Break on my list. The first season was awesome - I watched the episodes more or less back to back over a few weeks. The second season was so so and I'm not sure about how the third will be.

as far as drama series' go i'm watching Heroes, Prison Break, House, Bones, Ugly Betty, Supernatural...of course most of those are off on break, so i'm currently rewatching the entire series of Angel, lol

non dramas...i LOVE Top Gear...lol, so i'm a big car geek, sue me!! hey, did anyone see the Polar Special?

i also watch WWE...gotta love that action!

i don't really watch a lot of TV...at least, during the summer anyway!

I'm looking forward to Dirt's second season. Hopefully they'll have one.

They are having one. Which reminds me I need to finish that off, only seen up to episode nine.

Anyway if I had to pick one I'd go for Dexter. Really looking forward to that returning. Plus I love lots of other shows but Dexter is something that I really can't wait for.

Oh and Big Love is keeping me very happy in the meantime but I can tell the end of the season is nigh 🙁

Heh yeah I'm with you there actually. I always watch a lot of shows, but my most recent new obsession is definitely House. I hadn't watched it at all until a few weeks ago, but then I watched all three seasons in a few weeks and I just love it. Awesome characters, great acting, etc.

I'm watching Rescue Me, Bones, CSI, Dirt, MI-5 and I have the pilot of Damages saved but haven't watched it yet. Cancelled stuff: Angel, Buffy, Will & Grace, Firefly, La Femme Nikita, The Nanny and I'm buying Alias, even tho I didn't watch it beyond the first season. Going to try New Amsterdam in the fall, I LOVE the commercials for it!

I cannot stop watching Location, Location, Location. They're like a real life Mulder and Scully, but for houses. Estate agents make for unlikely sex symbols, but ye Gads... for God's sake, Phil and Kirstie, just get it over with and put us out of our misery.

Other than that, Battlestar Galactica fell apart, and it was heart breaking because God damn, that was a fantastic show once... very sorry to hear about the decline of Weeds. Only managed to catch a couple of episodes of that show, and it was rather brilliant.

The Shield which is so unique I would recommend to anyone to watch.
So You Think You Can Dance, my lord how do these kids keep such a hectic pace going? Not to mention I got major jealousy because I can barely do the box step!
The Kill Point, new Spike tv series with John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg. It took the idea of The Nine and turned it around using Iraq war veterans robbing a bank that went wrong and is now a hostage situation. Spike is always repeating all 3 shows so for all North American tv viewers you can catch up.
And ofcourse catching up on those DVD movies that you always say "oh I'll watch that later".

Speaking of unusual stuff that's worth a view. Has anyone seen Pure Pwnage? I think it might be internet TV. I stumbled onto it at the link I just posted.

It's about this guy who fancies himself what he calls a professional gamer, which appears to mean he plays video games all day, everyday. The thing that makes it funny is he doesn't have a clue how the real life stuff works. It's a mockumentary that follows him around as he tries to apply the rules and mythology of video gaming to the real world. There's a supporting cast of oddballs as well.
