Most people that say that like "all music" haven't heard that much music.

I mostly listen to metal and industrial, as well as every subgenre that is somehow derived from them. And I like alot of things in other genres. I'm mostly open to every kind of music.

Note: Open doesn't mean I like X-artist, it only means that I'll give it a chance and then probably accept it or trash it.

If you like music, you neither like all music, nor like only 1 style.

I like a bunch of different music but i'm mostly settled around rock, alternitive rock, and punk.

I like all sorts of music, I like old Jazz and Blues, aswell as soundtrack music and cheesy old love ballads (MANDY) and rock, and singer song writer and I even like rap.

Gotta be pop! I know I maybe stoned and beaten to death for this but Justin Timberlake is great! and as far as *Nsync I'm still a lil' heartbroken about the "breakup" even tho they say they'll be back...I'm afraid it will never happen! But don't worry I'm not a complete loser I'm starting to get into alt. rock and rock like Dashboard Confessional(I think they're alt. rock), Nirvana(Gotta luv em), and RHCP(the classic rock band)!

I voted other, I'm mostly into Punk like Dead Kennedy's, Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Dickies, The Toy Dolls. And newer punk bands Living End, Flogging Molly, and Goldfinger. None of that Blink-Good Charlotte-Simple Plan-New Found something or other crap.

I talk from experience, trust me that there are several genres that I could name right here that no one in the entire board has ever heard, and more than 95%, if they are being honest, would dislike.

Saying you like all music, not only implies you like all genres, it also implies you like all artists and all songs. Do you really think that holds true for someone?

EDIT: Hostile_17, do you really think Flogging Molly is punk? I know there's no point in classifying them but for some reason I never thought of them as punk, must be because of that Cruel Mistress song

Well, Flogging Molly is probably one of the hardest bands to classify, so I classify them asd punk, mostly because every time I see them the majority of the audience are hardcore punkers

I love rap and hip hop. But you should've also put Alanis Morissette because she's just her own category.🙂 I love such a mixture of music - mostly rap, hip hop, r&b, punk, and Alanis 😛... haaate country.

My cousin's band has played with Flogging Molly a couple times in shows/concerts.

I love rock, but i really like No Doubt and Michael Jackson.

I just listen to a lot of rock though.

I think, maybe, you're just contradicting for the sake of contradiction. You know as well as I do that that's not what is meant by that statement. It is meant that people enjoy samples of the genres they have experienced. Noone LOVES every song they ever hear, but they can enjoy a good deal of the music from every genre they experience.

i love mostly all kinds odf musaac but i adore clubbing to those hip hop tracks ----->esp. dance hall reggae like elephant man, black chiney ce'cile and stuff (which isnt really hip hop but yeah..)
the cds i love the most right now are all my bsb cds esp black and blue, my old mariah carey cds esp music box, my snoop dogg (always!!) and i recently got the best of rob zombie which is the bomb diggity
