February Event: Please Vote!

In the month of February we had planned to do Doppelganger Month. But Mikaela has brought up the great idea of doing a month to show appreciation to the other dorms, which a lot of seem to think is a great idea. I think both would be a lot of fun, and if we do the dorm appreciation I have an idea that would still let us do the Doppelganger thing too... But I'm putting up a poll so we can vote.

Voted for the first choice. Doppelganger theme was brought up first. And then Miki brought up the Dorm App theme. We should do it in order, right? We always plan things 2 months earlier. Yeah, we're that prepared. 😉

I agree, it seems fair We do doppelganger first since that came first. But a combo could be cool too. But either is fine. I'm just glad you guys like my idea and that you wanna do it!

It would be something like this... A banner saying something about dorm appreciation, with our doppelgangers in buttons flanking our siggy:

It's totally fine with me whatever we do. I just thought with Valentine's Day being in Feb that it made sense to do the dorm love thing then 🙂 but Doppelgänger month is going to be so much fun too. 🙂

They are smaller but they can be this size without passing the allowed limit.

Signatures should be no more than 200 pixels high x 700 pixels wide total, with no single banner being larger than 150 pixels high x 500 pixels wide

Actually they can be even higher. But you know me, I want them to be even with the banner. Anyhoo. I'm sure our great artists could do something with that.

I always make my banner buttons 150 x 75. That way they're even with the banners we make. 😀 I could make ones that are wider, but that means I'd have to make my banners smaller too. 😛

Why? You want a button on either side? One regular banner + one wide button works fine.

One small (150 high x 200 wide pixels max) animated banner is allowed per person.

For those who know how to do gifs I wouldn't mind one of those with dorm love. That way I wouldn't have to choose but could have all the other dorms at the same time. 😀 Size wise it's the same as the button I posted earlier so it would fit beside a regular banner.

I voted for both. 🙂 I love both ideas, but maybe not at the same time. Can't we just do
the first two weeks into Feb (Doppelganger ) then the last two weeks in Feb (the dorm appreciation)

I agree! Valentines month for dorm appreciation seems like fun. What a great idea! Then we can focus on doppelganger after! 😀
