Tara was the one I always felt sorry for she didn't deserve Glory's pain, she was so innocent. I wanted to hug Tara so much after that.

I wish Glory had just used Dawn I hate her sfm

Well, nobody deserves what Tara had done to her, Dawn included. That's just horrible.

I don't think any characters deserved Glory's angry. But Tara is one of my favourite characters and i absolutely hated it when Glory did that. Dawn may be a bit annoying, but i'm not sure she deserved that either.

I agree that Tara didn't deserve what happened to her. However, I don't agree that Dawn did. Glory was evil, and no one deserves to have evil unleashed on them unless they're evil themselves.

I don't like the comment about Dawn at all, regardless of my personal feelings about someone I wouldn't wish illness/insanity etc upon anyone at all.
I'm sure that person meant INSTEAD of Tara. Like a choice between the two. Also Glory would take Dawn, not inflict insanity upon her.

Wouldn't you value the life of a loved one, over that of a stranger?

How does that apply to this situation as neither Tara or Dawn are our actual loved ones?

And no. My husband is a firefighter and while I would be devastated to lose him, I do not value his life above any of those that he might save.

Obviously the OP expresses a liking of Tara and a disliking of Dawn. It isn't love, but the point remains the same. Like goes above dislike.

So, if you had to personally choose a life to value, it wouldn't be your husband? And I don't believe I was speaking to you.

I didn't know I wasn't welcome to respond to any post regardless of to whom it was directed. And no, although I would miss and mourn my husband's life more than a stranger, I don't think his life is intrinsically more valuable.

I agree. (Gasp! I agree about something with you!) If it were a choice, you'd rather it be someone you preferred. You may be loathe to make such a choice, but I would value one life above another in that case, although it would arguably be morally wrong.

But natural. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is lying to themselves. I feel like I should be offended at your shock that you agree with me. But, I'm not. Lol.

I disagree with this entirely, and I'd really rather you didn't say because I have a different opinion I'm lying :/

If I had two friends, my best friend and someone I know vaguely, I don't think I could make the choice, it's not their fault they don't know you as well as the other, and if they've both led a good life then it's completely unfair to pick one over the other.

But yet you would. You'd have to. You would choose who you cared about most. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. So angry.

So, getting this back on topic... The part that always got me about Tara getting mind-sucked by Glory was that she was always the most innocent of the Scoobies, always the outsider to whatever they were doing. She would help with spells now and then, but she mostly stayed out of the action, and look where it got her. 🙁 Poor Tara.
