I know this sounds kinda sad and pathetic, but does anyone else think that watching Buffy, has improved your fighting skills? Because i got into a fight, and everyone thinks im a little weed, but i kicked his ass, and im not just saying that, i fdound myselkf doing roundhouse kicks, and swinging them, even a forward puch, backward pucnch then a sweep. I know it sounds corny but i LOVE fighting now i can actually fight! You see, if i had to use self-defnse if someone attacked me (touch wood) i could defend myself, and its all from Buffy!

Haven't tried my skills on for a real long time, trying to avoid it, so I don't know yet!

cool! althouht i have never been in a fight, i feel i could... maybe, put some buffy moves in use. people picked on me in school because i sounded gay. although i am (gay) but thats not the point. thay said it to try and hurt me. not a day went past without a coment. i learnd to ignore it, they didnt stop but i just look down on them not for their sad pathetic little lifes. im in college now and for almost a year not one person has said any thing! my voice did drop in the summer holidays, but not to much. when my friend comes round me muck about in the garden, not to intentialy hurt eachother. its like stress relief in a way. but sints i badly hurt my arm i havent done it sints.

I havent had no fights!!! So I dont know about my fighting skills, but wathcing Buffy I think I have picked up a few things!!! lol

there is a big difference between tv fighting and real fighting...most of the moves the coreographers use are useless in a real fight...

Umh Television Kung Fu does not work in reality....Besides fighting for fun is stupid(when it comes to serious fighting where youre actually after hurting your opponent, sparring is fine though 😀), self-defense is fine though.

No fighting for fun is immature, only use it for self denfense and when your best friend sleeps with your boyfriend... then its always alright to ram her head into a wall and beat the hell out of her! or him which ever

I used to get into fights in my teens (rough high school), and real fighting isn't much like fighting on Buffy. What I mostly found useful as a girl were the "dirty tricks" my Dad showed me (head butts, finger spraining, eye-gouging, blows to the throat), and RUNNING AWAY.

More recently, I took a special self-defense class for women, and again, most of it was tricks for using your own strengths to disable your attacker. Roundhouse kicks just weren't on the menu.

Yea well thats your opinions, and for your information, ive used loads of fighting techniques used on Buffy and they work!
