Hi! 🙂

I was told I could post this here, so I really hope I'm not stepping on any toes by doing so.

Here is a brief lowdown on my situation, without getting into the full on nitty gritties:

I just moved to Chico, California - which is a town about an hour outside of Sacramento. Problem is, my girlfriend just broke up with me and I know very few people here who aren't affiliated with her and I feel like I need my own group of friends. It's been a really lonely situation so far. I'd LOVE to meetup with people from the boards, if at all possible. Get to know a few of you. I think I have a better chance of finding people I have something in common with that way. I was wondering if anyone is in my area who might be up for getting some coffee or something sometime?
 
I'll be in California for a good chunk of May. I know that's a little ways away, but we could meet up then if you want?

No, I'm actually from Canada. I heading back for the summer. I go to school in Arizona. I went through California on my way down and just fell in love with the state. Seriously, I want to move their someday. Santa Barbara might be the coolest place in the world.

Oh, very cool. What do you go to school for and what part of Canada are you from?

I've never been to Santa Barbara, but I've heard it's a cool place. I'll make it there someday.
