Regardless of the relative price from country to country, the point is that the price of gasoline in particular and energy in general has risen spectacularly in the last few months, which will ultimately raise the cost of everything we buy. That doesn't mean any more than an inconvenience and mild irritation to those in the upper levels of income, but the folks on the bottom are going to be in real trouble. we may just solve Al Gore's global warming problem just by not being able to afford to emit those nasty ol' fluorocarbons.

Well we used to get by on about 75-100 at the most on gas for a two week period (spouses car) and now we are looking at about 200 easy. It's just rediculous. But we aren't changing anything really.

It's going to affect alot of peoples lives though. People are going to do a lot less due to gas prices, so again it hurts the economy. Big surprise eh?!
