Heres a task for you Angel fans. I havnt watched Angel before, up until a month or so ago I didnt watch Buffy. Anyway, I've seen S2 and S3 of Buffy so I know about Angel there (and read about him in S1). I was wondering, can somebody fill me in briefly season by season. I dont want much, heres an example for season three of Buffy.

Buffy returns home from LA to a less than perfect reception from her friends and family and she must try and convince Synder to let her back into school. A new free-spirited slayer called Faith shows up who shows Buffy that you can have fun with slaying, but at a price. When Spike takes Willow and Xander hostage Oz and Cordelia come to save them, only to find them kissing. Cordelia runs away and gets impaled and later breaks up with Xander. Cordelia wishes that Buffy never came to Sunnydale and Anyanka makes it so, creating an alternate universe that later on Vampire Willow escapes out of. Amy gets turned into a rat to avoid being burned at the stake and Willow gives the rat a home to live in. When Faith kills a mortal she decides to join the Mayor and help with the Ascension. After Faith and Buffy fight Faith ends up in a coma and this enrages the Mayor who turns into a snake-like demon at the Ascension, which takes place during the graduation day. As Xander leads an army of students against the Mayor Buffy traps him in the library and blasts him, and the school, to pieces. The gang graduates, from here Angel leaves for LA, Cordelia also leaves to help him and become famous, Buffy, Willow and Oz go off to college while Xander gets a job. Willow and Oz also get 'closer'.

OK that was longer than I expected and I dont expect it that long but theres the idea. You dont have to do every season, or any at all if you dont want. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Rather that someone explaining, I suggest you look around some angel sites for episode guides and reviews. You can mind many on http://www.buffysearch.com
 
I was wondering if anyone could sum it up, be easier than trapsing through episode guides but I understand it would be hard.
 
.....SEASON 1.....
there are 2 important things we learn
1..angel is a vampire with a soul because he was cursed by a gypsy who made it so if he was to feel even one moment of true happiness he would loose his soul again
2..buffy dies fighting the master and is revived by xander

.....SEASON 4.....
the gang starts college... OZ cheats on willow with another warewolf and leaves to try and find a cure to controll his animal side... willow meets a witch named tara and they fall madly in love with each other... (their romance is really sweet and beautifull you have to watch the season to trully understand the relationship they had)... oz comes back and willow has to choose between him and tara .. (she chooses tara)
xander and anya start dating in a serious relationship and fall in love with each other
spike is captured by a military force called the initiative and a chip is put in his head the makes it so everytime he tries to hurt a human he is given a serious nerological shock of pain to stop him so he is as helpless as a kitten against humans but not other demonds
giles feels that he is uneeded and that he is in buffys way he goes through some serious self loathing for most of the season
buffy sleeps with a jerk named parker as a rebound relationship after angel
the initiative ia a human military force that fights demonds it is ran by a professor named walsh and the head military task agent is a college student named riley... they have no concept of buffy or slayers at all.. walsh tries to kill buffy but fails.. she has created a demond made out of the most dangerous parts of multiple demonds he is named adam who kills walsh riley and buffy fall in love and stay together through the season faith wakes up steals buffys body sleeps with riley then buffy gets her body back and faith escapes to l.a. buffy willow giles and xander do a spell at the end that joins them mentally emotionally and magicly to defat adam then this union some how links them all to gether with the first slayer throughv their dreams but buffy defeats her

.....SEASON 5.....
buffy all of a sudden had a sisster that everyone thinks has always been there including buffy and joyce a crazy god named glory coms to town looking for something called the key buffy realizes that dawn is the key and was sent to her in the form of a sisster so that she would protect her with her own life joyce gets sick and dies of a tumor buffy becomes emotionally distant from riley and he cheats on her with a vampire sex thing (hard to explain) when she finds out he leaves spike thinks he has fallen in love with buffy we learn that buffy is already at this point the strongest sayer ever and that her powers are still getting stronger the gang figures out that what glory wants is to open a demention gate to hell with dawns blood then the only way it can be closed is pushing the same blood through it to close it buffy and dawn are made of the same blood so she sacrafices her own life to save dawn buffy dies

.....SEASON 6.....
willow brings buffy back from the dead a few months later be cause a new slayer never came and the evil is becomeing more then they can handle giles knew nothing about it neither did dawn or spike she was ripped out of heaven and returned without feeling her and spike started sleeping together because it was the closest to feeling she could find willow developes a magic problem (magic junky like drug attic) and almost gets dawn killed tara leaves willow because she wont get help for her problem willow starts to get help and her and tara get back together they spend the nigh together and when they wake up the next morning their love is stollen from them johnathn andrew and warren are the villians for the season warren comes to buffy backyuard and shoots buffy the bullet passes through her and rikashays through the window and kills tara instantly willow tries to bring her back to life but cant because she was killed by human means not supernatural willow turns evil the pain and rage take over she finds warren and kills him the she tries to destroy the entire world so that no one will have to go through the pain she was feeling xander stops her from doing it he tells her that he dosnt care if she destroys the world that he wants to be with her while it happens becaus she is and will always be his best friend and most important person in the world to him his love breaks through to willow and she falls to him crying in the end buffy finds her emotions in her self and is emotionaly normal again buffy tries to break up with spike but he dosnt want her to they fight and he tries to rape buffy and runs out befor doing so riley returns tracking a denond along with his wife

.....SEASON 7.....
spikes soul was returned by a demond he is found in the basement of the new school wich has been built on the same place as it was before looner as a toon from living with the pain of all the things he has done as a vampire buffy tries to help him the fist evil tries to use spike jonathon and others to help it unleash hell on earth the new school princepal turns out to be the son a a slayer that spike killed he and giles conspire to kill spike but fail the first uses a fallen preacher named caleb to be his human vessle since the first is unable to take caporial form on earth he pokes zanders eye out faith returns to help everyone except spike and johnathon (who arnt there) turns on buffy thinking that she isnt doing things right that she is allowing her emotions contoll her decisions angel returns and they fall into an amazing kiss with an amulet and asks if he can be her champion she tells him he has to leave and make a second front that if she fails someone must be ready for a second attack to try to stop it he lets her know that he still loves her she says she isnt ready to deal with her emotions of love for him or spike he says that he will wait for her to be ready if she ever chooses him and he leaves buffy finds a sythe that was made from th powers of good to destroy the first

.....THE FINAL BATTLE.....
Willow does a spell with the power of the sythe that releases the powers of it to activate the powers of the slayer line all potentials in the world even the ones that dont know they are receive their slayers powers all across the world buffy fights with the sythe first then she is badly hurt and throws the sythe to faith she then is hurt and the sythe is passd to a potential then buffy gets up and takes the sythe to strike the first as it takes caporial form then spike who is waring the amulet from angel starts to spin and lights up like a christmas tree everyone fleas as the ground shakes and crumbles buffy tells spike that she wont leave him he tells her to go because its ok he knows whats happening and he wants to do this he says that it is right this is his purpose that he needs to do this buffy tells him that sh loves him and he aays no you dont but thank you for saying you do he pushes her away and he starts to spin faster buffy fleas the cave and barely makes it out zander asks johnathon where is anya and tells him she died to save his life the survivers are giles buffy xander willow faith wood andrew and multiple potentials sunnydale has now become a hole in the ground there is nothing left

.....SEASON 1.....
buffy goes to la and sees angel they fight an amora demond whos blood mixes with angels and makes angel human he and buffy mate like rabbits all day but he tries to fight the demond alone and almost dies buffy saves him the demond says "together you were stronge but apart wou will die"angel goes to the oricals to find out what is going on and why the oricals say"the arora demond came with thw entent to take a warrior from the forces of good and that it has succeeded as a mortal man he is nolonger a warrior "angel asks "what about the slayer what will happen to her "they reply"she will die more sooner then later" angel asks to be made the same as he was befor the arora demond the male orical say's no because he is a lower being the female says he is not a lower being that he is willing to sacrafice all the haooiness that he has ever known to try to save the women he loves she tells him tha exactly 24 hours from the time he became human the day will be taken back the way that he will be able to prevent doing the samething again is that he shall remember what happened but no one else will remember he hurrys back to buffy to tell her they profess their love and she swears that she will never forget and she will always love him no matter if she remmbers or not then time turns back and no on remembers but him

.....SEASON 4.....
angel looses his soul on purpose because he is tricked into believing it is the onlyway to find things out that are needed to stop armageten willow goes to la and restores angels soul because she is the only one who can she goes and is successfull in returning his soul

Angel moves to L.A., unaware of his purpose in the City of Angels. There, he meets Doyle, his half-man, half-demon spiritual advisor, who gives him direction. Doyle leads Angel to Russell Winters, a rich and powerful vampire, preying on aspiring actresses. Winters sets his eyes on Cordelia. Angel saves Cordelia, confronts Winters at his lawyer's office, Wolfram & Hart, and does some major re-vamping there. This is the first of many confrontations Angel will have with Wolfram & Hart.
