Final Fantasy 7

Im just wondering who has played the best rpg ever in my opinion. Ive complted it around 5 times now and its such a good game. I bought a psp the other day just to play the Final Fantasy Crisis core game and OH MY GOD its awesome.

Im currently in a race with my mate on who can complete it 1st and we have set goals for each other we have to:

1. Gain all Characters including Yuffie and Vincent
2. Gain all summons
3. Have at least three characters to lvl 70
4. At least three characters with final limit break
5. At least three charcters with final weapons
6. Get a golden Chocobo
7. Buy the inn at costa de sol
8. Get all master materia
7. Defeat Water Weapon
8. And finally probally the hardest thing in gaming defeat Ruby Weapon

So I'd like to know whos played it. Also whats your favourite character etc
 
I've played it. Favorite character was Cait Sith or something can't remember the name. It's 7 years when I last played so i don't remember enything else about it...
 
FFVII and IX were my all time favourite games until MGS4 came along. Which, you know, was 10 years or so! I adore that game. The compilation is a bit *meh* in comparison, but I still enjoyed AC. I recently got a PSP too to play Crisis Core...but I bricked it already. I should be able to fix it though and play it!

My favourite character in FFVII? I loved Yuffie and Sephiroth. But, despite the fact I hated her for years, Tifa is now my favourite. She's just so damn sweet!

Yeah it was Cat sith why? Cat sith betrayed the team and gave the black materia to Sepiroth.

I hate Sephiorth. I like Yuffie just dont like all the time it takes to get her though you seen her in Crisis core as a little kid?

My favourite is Vincent and Barreat.

I liked Reeve. The doll, I can live without. Especially since its name is pronounced Ket Shee, which is really annoying....

That Yuffie bit was as far as I got! It was quite cool. Vincent was a bit bland for me. Although, I loved his voice in AC. Barret? If you ignore the whole Mr. T thing, he is one of the more interesting characters, especially in Midgar.

^ For some reason, it wouldn't do analog so I had to use the directional pad for everything. I guess I've gotten spoiled for the little joystick, cause I couldn't deal with it. And anyway, I was working on my thesis at the time and the people who loaned me the game wanted it back.

Yeah that does get annoying im playing it on pc 😀
 
I've got FF VII but I prefer FF IX.

I like 9. It's not as confusingly involved as some of the others. And I don't feel like I have to use cheat codes to beat the main boss.
I love ff7 and 9. FF9-Vivi, the cutest! Both fantastic games, and I really enjoyed the Final Fantasy:Advent Children movie, which I didn't think I would.
 
FF7 is amazing game, i havent played it for about 10 years though, but what i remember
it is definetly up there with San andreas as the best game ever. Is it out again on ps3?

No its not out on ps3 but before ps3 was realeased they made a tech demo of Midgar from ff7 with ps3 grpahics and oh my god it was amazing.
 
I just got it working on my PSP! No one else seems to understand that I spent all that money on a PSP just to get it to play the first game I ever bought all those years ago. It's pretty damn awesome on PSP though. And you can use the analouge stick too!
