Final Fight - 'Chosen' Score

Does anyone know if this piece of music, 'Final Fight' was written specifially for BtVS? Or if it was borrowed for the episode?

'Cause I recenrly heard it used on WWE Raw last week, and while it made me a happy FanGirl that my fandoms had crossed over, it made me wonder just where the music originally came from.

Thanks, N4H, knew I could count on you. Apparently some people aren't as happy as I am about the WWE using that piece of music. Although, I do draw the line at using it for a One Tree Hill commerical, lol.

It's the promo that ran for Chosen. It's useful here, because it shows you what the final fight might have looked like with a different score, and you know when Buffy takes that big scythe swing at the 3 ubes? You actually hear her war cry.

They also used it for the trailers of that ABC family movie "Samurai Girl". Twas Weird.

Its funny the Chosen score right away when i listened to it on YouTube, but i have not heard it since 2003, when i watched the finale. It's quite the memorable theme, and it doesn't surprise me that trailers, and TV spots do use it. Makes me a little sad listening to it though to be honest, cause it reminds me of the end of Buffy, lol i'll be alright.

I DLed the mp3 and the quality was pretty sucky, sadly. I thought the composition was brill, IMNSHO.

I love the score for "Chosen"! It gave me chills when I heard it on the Radio Sunnydale soundtrack, and then when I finally got to see the ep, I cried 'cause it was such a fitting, beautifully epic piece. 🙂
