Finally joining in the fandom fun

Hello everyone!

My name is Rachel, I'm 17 years old and living in Alabama. Heading to college in Rome, Georgia next year hopefully as a Pre-Vet major. Can't wait!

I've been watching Buffy and Angel since I was about 12. A great friend of mine was nice enough to introduce me and guide me through watching the show. Ever since, I've been hooked. I would elaborate on how sincere my love for the Buffyverse is, but I think I'd really be preaching to the choir!

I've been really into the show lately, mostly because a couple friends of mine are in the midst of seeing the show for the first time. I got to watch a large part of season 5 and 6 with them and it was lots of fun. They are proper Buffy fans now, I'm proud to have been a part of their transformation 😀

Two days ago I finally bought season 3 and 7! They were on crazy sale on Amazon and I couldn't pass it up. My collection is almost complete -- still looking for a good opportunity to purchase season 1 and 2.

Oh, and I like to make graphics! I recently started a blog to post my Buffy gifs and edits that I make out of boredom; the link is in my profile. I could always use more practice and so I'll probably be spending a lot of time making graphics around here.

See you all around! Feel free to PM me, I am always up for intelligent Whedon-related discussion... or, of course, just gushing over characters would be fun too. 😛

Maybe they will! I'll have to prod them about it next time we watch. They might be interested.

Hi Rachel and welcome to BB! There are loads of people on here into graphics and even more into Whedon-related discussion. Some of it could even be described as intelligent! As for the number of people that gush...it's mind-blowing 😱

If you would like to show off some of your graphics work, you could start a thread in Joyce's Gallery in The Slayground section.

Is there anything you'd like to start a discussion about? If so, read the forum descriptions to decide which one is best suited to your topic and dive in. If you post in the wrong one by mistake, I'm sure the mods won't disembowel you for it....😀

Or if you'd like to join in on existing threads, just hit the unread posts link on the front page by your avatar and start by replying to some ongoing discussions from the list of threads that appears, if anything takes your fancy.

Or you can always go to the Bad Eggs forum under Check In in the top forum section and ask for a guiding hand by being adopted
