The question on every The Walking Dead fan's chapped, thirsty lips this offseason is, "who did Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) kill?" Finally, we have an answer (sort of)... And it proves the show is going to insane lengths to protect its biggest secret before the Season 7 premiere.

Season 6 ended with a cliffhanger: the villainous Negan had lined up most of the main cast members on the show, and after a particularly deadly game of "Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe" bashed in the brains of one unlucky character. The twist? The audience saw the death from the victim's perspective, so we never found out who died.

Hardcore fans of The Walking Dead have gone to extreme lengths to find out show spoilers before the newest episode airs, peaking with people flying drones over the Georgia set to sneak arial photographs. In response, the show is fighting fire with fire by shooting death scenes forevery one of villain Negan's possible victims.

Unnamed sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that death scenes have been filmed for Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Daryl (Norman Reedus).

When will the dumb directors work out how to deal with fans who have the, 'If I don't see it I won't believe it' type of mentality. Maybe have them watch the old, 'Who done it?' type of film and give every clue through the series, the last episode would list evidence that led to the guilty decision. Like Agatha Christie stuff the fans would need to buy the series of DVD's. It'd save the need to film unneeded death scenes that cost heaps.

It's just hype and self-publicity, but I can't help admiring the publicity machine that these shows become. It's like the hype is bigger than the actual show

This sort of thing has been going on since even before the big "Who shot J R?" days on "Dallas," and it's nothing more than an indication of the fans' interest in the series. Granted, the level of technology has improved since Larry Hagman was the super stud bad guy running Ewing Oil, but the Producers of the show should be happy that there is so much interest. If nobody cared, they wouldn't be watching the show in the fist place.

Are we any better? It's been more than 10 years since Buffy and her friends left us, and we're still arguing about things on the show.

I do not believe many do, certainly not to go about filming 11 different death scenes to keep people from being spoiled. That seems a little frivolous with the actors time.
