OMG... I've have finally seen the end of Buffy! It couldn't have been better! I'm crying right now thinking about it! Spike is such a hero!

Here's a thing though, she said she loved him and he said she didn't! I think she meant it! What do you think?

I don't know what else to say! I'm so lost! I loved that speech he gave her about knowing what she is! It was so sweet!

And Willow... I never guessed she would become a white witch! I thought she would die! Which brings me to poor Anya... she didn't die in vain! I cried out when she was killed!

Oh the emotion.... I don't know quite what to do with myself!

Here's a theory concerning Spike's statement in Chosen that Buffy didn't love him.

Remember when Drusilla tells us vampires can love? I think she's speaking of a soulless, more hormonal love. At the end of Chosen Spike connects with his soul. He realizes the kind of love he and Buffy might feel for each other is not a connection of souls. Thus his statement when Buffy tells him she loves him -- "No you don't, but thanks for saying so".

that's gotta be one of the most clear headed thoughts I've heard regarding this statement.

It's something that you can't really argue against.
 
This theory seems so appropriate.

I guess I need to watch more the whole show to be able to do like u do.
 
wow, I'm very impressed by this theory! Because I only watched it last night, i haven't had much chance to think about it! But you're gonna have me pondering this all day now!

Yeah...

I really feel sorry for Spike in that case! It's his last minute and he has never been close with anyone the way that soulmates do! At least if Angel was to die right now he would be able to say that he's connected with Buffy's soul! 🙁 Poor Spike!
 
Love every1s theories. I really wish buffy was in love w/ Spike, even though she isn't(wasn't). It was so sad taht spike had to die thinking about what had just gone on between him and buffy. Was anyone else hysterical crying when they saw the end of this, especially the buffy/spike part?!?!?!

I like your theroy, nerd4hire, but I dont really get it but anyway. I think that she never loved him, so when she said it she wasent thinking strait and knew he was going to die and just said it for him to have a death thinking a thought that wasent sad but very happy. im not too sure though.
