Sometimes I read older threads, sometimes threads I don't even remember writing in, and I read some of the posts or agree comments without noticing who wrote the post. I think "That's clever, well said" or something to that effect and then realize I'm the one that wrote it, and I've forgotten it.

That ever happen to someone else?

I'm pretty sure I've also find myself thinking "That's dumb" when re-reading my old posts and comments, wherter I recall who wrote it or not before I read it.

I go back in search of my favorite posts I've posted and re-read them a lot. I also see the first posts I posted... and I shake my head... I was so new to the fandom and my opinions have changed so much!

Yes, sometimes I find something that just vaguely rings a bell until I realise that I actually wrote it myself. Often, I nod and feel that I can agree with myself still, sometimes I feel like a cure for foot-in-mouth disease would have been needed just about then.

A couple of times I have gone to search for my old posts to reread the ones I posted when I first joined. I notice some of my opinions have changed, and sometimes I wonder what I was thinking (not wanting to watch "Firefly", for example!). 🙂

It happens. To be totally honest it happens mostly, but not only, when I feel a bit down and go looking for TK positive posts/reps to cheer me up. Kind of sad in a way.

What bugs me most while reading any post I've written, old or new, is how frustrated I get by my lack of ability to express myself. Sometimes I do alright even though I wish it could be better but sometimes I just shake my head and understanding exactly why people miss the point I'm trying to make.

Not that sad. Just very human, to sometimes need other people to feel better. We're group animals after all.

I've read older threads a few times. There are a few posters I really liked that were here when I first joined but have since left, so it can be nice to look back at old conversations.

A couple times I've found posts I made and don't even remember them. Some of my opinions have changed, but for the most part I still like what I've posted in the past. It drives me crazy when I see an old post of mine that had a spelling error...I wish I could go back and correct it!
