Oh geez. Click on whedon patterns, and you will find a cross stitch hush pillow with the drawings giles made on the projector. I might have to do that.

I can cross stitch, but it's not my favorite. I much prefer crocheting or beading. But I may need to do it for that.

How easy is it to cross stitch? (he asks in his most manly voice) Is cross stitch like (again, in his most manly voice) hook-a-rug or crocheting?
 
I cannot cross-stitch and probably will never learn, but kudos to you who could actually use these! 😀

Considerably easier. 🙂 I remember the needlework lessons back in elementary school, and cross-stitch was the thing I actually managed to be any good at, while I utterly failed at knitting and crocheting.

Those are so awesome! I wish I knew how to cross stitch. I can knit and crochet, but I never learned cross stitching..
 
Blergh, I hate cross-stitching. It's so boring. But these are cute, nonetheless. I wonder if I could modify and knit those. *ponders* A Jayne in cunning hat-hat! (sw)

Sco, imagine taking a needle and thread and going over and over (and over) the same piece of fabric till it is covered in said thread in your desired pattern. Like mum said, it's incredibly boring (to me) and it takes forever to do something big. it's not my favorite craft. But then again some people think crocheting takes forever and is boring too. And anyone who has ever attempted beadwork (by hand, not on a loom I've never done that) will tell you anyone who takes an hour to make one teensy earring, and then is crazy enough to attempt a larger piece of work (like a medallion or bolo or cane) that takes months to finish, is just completely nuts, cause it's monotonous and tedious and extremely precise. Different strokes is all I'm getting at. Just cause I don't love it doesn't mean manly manly men like yourself won't like it. Plus the outcome so justifies the time spent doing it.
