Firefly discussion/re-watch?

Ok, so judging by the comments we'll go with that schedule.

The staff is currently discussing if we can get a a section for episode discussion so hopefully we'll get that. I don't feel like I have to "lead" the discussion by making the threads for each episode. Maybe you don't either. 😉 As far as I'm concerned anyone that wants to can start them. If it's me that start them I hope 'll add a episode summary and maybe some trivia.

Can you do an interlibrary loan? That's how I read a lot of the IDW Angel comics. Or maybe pay for a Netflix sub just for the time period we're watching. Of course I'm sure there are ahem, "alternate" routes to watch.

I'm looking to see if any of the other libraries in our system have them, but no luck so far. 🙁 And yes, alternative...ooo, I should look on eBay. Might be able to find the whole series for $10 or something. *lightbulb*
 
I haven't heard back as to whether or not we are going to get a discussion forum for the rewatch, like we got for Dollhouse... I can't set one up myself, but if not, I see no reason why the threads can't just go in the "Firefly" forum.

That's definitely the place they'll end up if we don't get a discussion section. Just thought it'd be nice. Not a must.

As soon as [MENTION=8013]Washburne[/MENTION] suggested it and it seemed their was interest from enough people, I used some of my birthday money to buy the shiny Blu-Ray set....I already had it on DVD but, well, I'm a dork. 😀

My best mate and I started watching them last week as he has never seen them before, but I will be watching them in time with the schedule on here as well. So I am doing two watches at once 🙂

So in short...yes 🙂

That's actually a lot of fun.
I do. This will be my third and fourth watch throughs. I need to watch things so many times because for all that I can remember facts and figures, I am absolutely atrocious at remembering this that happen during TV shows, movies or in books. That's why I rarely reply in threads relating to specific events in episodes. 🙂
 
I've actually never seen it before! By coincidence, I finished the pilot yesterday and LOVED IT! So if you don't mind the input of a newcomer and tagging spoilers, I'd like to join in!
