Firefly DVDs

Who's bought them? I have! They are incredible, beautiful, very shiny (you will only understand that if you watched Firefly 😛) and definitely do justice to Joss's masterful creation. The extras rock, especially Joss and Nathan Fillion's hilarious commentary on Serenity.

If you haven't bought the dvds, why the hell not?!?! I guess you have an excuse if you are outside the USA and can't order online or don't have a multiregion player, but other than that THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!!! Buy them now!

I've been renting them off Netflix. But I will buy the set just as soon as I have enough dead presidents to pay for it.

Firefly was an incredible series. You know how you usually sit through the opening episodes of a new show as it introduces all the new characters and situations? And figures out what it wants to do? Uh-uh. Firefly hit the ground running--Fox really blew it not showing the 2-hour pilot first.

Listening to the dialogue in one of the eps on disc 2, "Our Mrs. Reynolds," I found myself laughing and going, "Joss Whedon wrote this." So I went back to the credits and sure enough, writ by JW!

I watched an ep or two on TV but I guess it didn't do it justice as I didn't like it that much. Might see about download the double part first ep, if I like it I might import the DVD.
