Firefly reference in this week's Castle

I had read that it was going to be a small reference and then I watched the episode I got afraid I'd missed it. How embarrassing that would have been. So I was happy when this showed up.

It was fun but I like the subtler ones better - ie Castle complaining that Alexis' boyfriend has a girl's name and, of course, "I was aiming fer his head!"

There was another reference on tonight's (2/21/11) episode.

Castle's mother wants to take his daughter on a retreat called Oasis of Serenity.

"What's that?" he asks.

"You've never heard of Serenity?" she responds.

And then Castle gives a little smile.
