Firefly Season 2 On Demand Project

I just came across the website of a project that's trying to get a second season of Firefly made as pre-ordered on-demand videos.

Not that I think it'll work, but I filled out a profile nonetheless. It's only takes about a minute, so what's the harm?
 
It could work. but, I'd rather see it as a direct to DVD thing, instead of On Demand, mostly because I don't have cable. Direct to DVD worked for the new Battlestar Galactica movie, and the new Stargate SG-1 movie is going the same way.
 
Actually the project can go either way Direct-to-DVD or On-Demand... or a little bit of both.
 
You never can tell about something like this, it might just work. Back when Buffy was still on the air as a first run show, about halfway through the 4th Season, some of us on the old Official Buffy Website got up a petition to get Spike a soul. It started out as "Who will give 12% of your soul to Spike," or something like that. We would up with enough contributions that, if my memory serves me correctly, Spike wound up with about a dozen souls. I'd like to believe that we helped the process along a bit. The same thing might work for "Firefly" or some sort of Buffyverse spinoff (I know "Ripper" is still an active project, but it doesn't have to be the ONLY active project. How does "Andrew's Avengers" sound as a possible series?)
 
I would love to see this happen. And it truly could happen you never know. There's another show, I forget the title at the moment that got brought back not too long ago because fans wouldn't keep their traps shut about it,lol. It's a good thing, don't get me wrong. We should not keep our traps shut either.
