Firefly/Serenity reference on Stargate

Considering how the writers on Stargate seems to love Firefly I would guess it is a Firefly / Serenity reference.

I've spent the last couple of weeks listening to all commentary tracks on both SG-1 and Atlantis and they mention Firefly several times.
Can't remember if they said anything about that particular line though...

Is Stargate still going?

I used to love it when I was younger but couldn't watch it due to the channel being shut down.

SG-1 and Atlantis stopped airing some time ago. Stargate: Universe is on it's second and last season since it didn't get renewed. From what I've read (I'm not looking) there's a third SG-1 movie and an Atlantis movie planned but if it'll happen I have no idea.
