Firefox 4

I go through cycles of Chrome and Firefox. Right now I'm on a Chrome cycle. but it's been driving me nuts and I was thinking about switching back to firefox. Now I feel like I should check out firefox, but I'll probably stick with Chrome just because I know how many problems Firefox has when they release a new .0 version.
EDIT: I just went and checked out the screencaps... I hate it. If I wanted Chrome, I'd stick with Chrome. Oh god.

I think I just updated it to Firefox 4 so hadn't had the chance to see what difference it make. Why do you hate it? I want to be warned. 😉

I don't like, for one, that my Yahoo Toolbar isn't compatible. I had a lot of additional bookmarks in my toolbar so that I could get to them easy (including my own website) and now they're gone. Looks like I'm going to have to restructure my faves.
Also, I don't like the placement of the things on the toolbars. I don't like the layout of it at all.

I don't like the placement of the toolbars either... just from screenshots I can tell. The Firefox toolbars were among my favorite things about firefox.

I just downloaded Firefox for the first time a couple weeks ago, so I have no idea which version it is, lol. I like it so far, it's a lot better than Internet Explorer, which is what I had been using before this.

EDIT: I just looked, mine is indeed 4.

ANYTHING's better than IE.
Nevermind, I just needed to upgrade my Yahoo Toolbar. LOL But still, the placement of everything in the toolbars is all wonky. I want my version 3.6 back.

I don't use any additional toolbar so that's not a problem for me and I haven't noticed any change in the firefox toobar. Maybe I'm blind as usual or just don't have it that way. When I get back home I better go looking for screen caps and see how it is for others.

I'm in no way trying to say that Firefox is the one to use. It suits me at the moment and that's it. Not like I need anything special. I'm a simple man. 😉

I love posting too late. 😀 Or not...

I downloaded the beta and then went back to the previous. The tabs interfere with my dock in Windows 7 - very annoying when trying to switch tabs. And now my CSS is also thrown off in my browser.

I'm gonna keep it for another day or so to see if it grows on me, but if not, I'm gonna go back to the earlier one.

Firefox 4 is supposed to be customizable, isn't it? I think you're supposed to be able to arrange it to look any way you want.

I know I would prefer to keep my tabs underneath my address bar. It would be annoying to keep going for a tab and have it not be where I'm expecting it to be.

Call me a traditionalist, I still like my Safari.. though, ya'll should check out Wyzo if you are a social mediaer or bit torrenter.

Exactly, AC... I don't like have to search for 5 minutes to find the tab I want. Bluh...
I'm getting used to it, but it's still not my fave I've ever used.

I don't exactly hate it, but it definitely takes some getting used to. If I have to think about where my bookmarks are, that's not a good thing. AND they switched the positions of "Open in new tab" and "Open in new window" when you right-click. Currently, I have three windows open because of that. D:

I think I know why I don't have the same problems as others. The fact that I still use XP might have something to do with it. Believe it or not, but not everyone can upgrade or buy news things when they want. 😉

After a couple days, I'm used to it now. I still like the other version better but I might as well leave it.

I much prefer it to the older version. It saves a lot of space if you use it the way it's intended, but then you can customise it to look like the old one too. The only problem I have with it is it's still not the prettiest looking thing.

I finally cracked down and installed Firefox 4. I haven't used it too much yet so I cant say too much. But it doesn't seem too bad. It seems like it gives the page more room. The page looks longer to me, like it has more space. All I really did was find a Firefox persona so far and go on here.
